Just as the B-town boasts of linkup and breakup rumours, the telly town too, doesn’t quite lag behind in doing so. When we watch our favourite television stars go through life tragedies on daily soaps, our heart yearns for them as if it’s happening in reality and they are one of our family members! But when happy things happen, believe me you, more than the stars themselves, their audiences become euphoric! And that is exactly what had happened when Dipika Kakar Ibrahim announced her wedding with her then co-star of Sasural Simar Ka and now hubby, Shoaib Ibrahim. Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had married the love of her life, Shoaib Ibrahim on February 22, 2018, and have been truly, madly and deeply in love with one another ever since. Both have accepted each other’s religion (Dipika had decided to change her religion post-wedding) and have been living a happy life with her in-laws ever since. When in the Bigg Boss 12 house, remember how much Dipika used to miss not only hubby, Shoaib but also her in-laws?

The year 2019 has been treating Dipika Kakar Ibrahim real good! Not only was she declared the winner of Bigg Boss 12 but also made her big comeback in television with her show, Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum as the female lead. But do you know who she owes to for her tremendous success? Her in-laws! In an interview with the IANS, Dipika shared, “I feel I am blessed when it comes to maintaining a work-life balance, given the kind of hectic work we do and the demanding nature of the industry we are in. I have been married for almost two years and I wouldn't have been able to do this without the unflinching support from Shoaib, Saba (sister-in-law) and Ammi."
Dipika Kakar Ibrahim also shared that marriage should be like a springboard for a person and not a backseat. She stated, “I also feel everyone should have the right to speak up and do what they love irrespective of their gender. Marriage should not be the reason why we have to let go of our dreams and careers. It should further empower a person to chase and fulfil their dreams. My family has been such a strong pillar of my strength. It has only made me do wonders in my career.”
It was on August 06, 2019, when Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had turned 33. In India, we celebrate Friendship Day on the first Sunday of August. And that is exactly when, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had posted a heartfelt wish for her hubby, Shoaib Ibrahim and had written, “Its often said marriage kills friendship!!! I proudly deny it today... You still are always there to hear everything that's in my mind!!! You still are a partner in all my madness and masti... and I always have my best friend in you who understands me in a way no one else does!!!! Happy Friendships Day @shoaib2087 !!! #friendsforever.” To this, her hubby Shoaib had wittily replied, “@ms.dipika Aree baapre itni tareeffff... wo bhi meri.”
A while back, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had a light-hearted conversation with The Indian Express where they had talked at length about their relationship. When they were asked as to what they love, hate and tolerate about each other, Dipika had replied, “I love about him is the way he carries his relationships be it with his family, with his friends, you know. He just takes them together and walks ahead. So, that is what I love about him." Adding further, Dipika had said, “What I hate about him is not something that I would like to discuss about openly. And what I tolerate about him is his phone. Kabhi mujhe mauka mile na to main ise dustbin mein daal ke aa jaungi. I tolerate this about him definitely.” (Must Read: Sharad Malhotra And Ricpi Bhatia's Red And Black Look Stole The Show At Their First Karwa Chauth)
On the same question, Shoaib Ibrahim was quoted as saying, “Love, puri. Hate kya bolu, ye jab b mujhe irritate karti hai na tab. Kabhi kabhi mera man hota hai Dipika nahi yar. Tolerate ka iska aisa kuch bhi nai hai. Ye kabhi koi aisi cheez nai karti hai. Lekin haan kabhi kabhi iska gussa. Thora sa.” Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had then interrupted and said, “Ab to nai hoga. Ab to mujhe pucha jata hai itni shaant ho gayi hai. Ghar pe hai bhi ke nai.”
