Dipika Kakar Reveals The REAL Reason She Left Celebrity MasterChef, 'Production People Took Me To..'

Dipika Kakar made a comeback on the television after a long break with the cooking reality show, Celebrity MasterChef. The gorgeous actress even broke down during one of the episodes and said that she wanted to represent the home cooks. Dipika has been trolled over the years for her decision to take a sabbatical, but when she returned to the screens with the show, it left her fans excited. Well, it was a few days ago, when reports revealed that Dipika had decided to quit the show, Celebrity MasterChef. Now, the actress confirmed the news and shared the real reason why she had to take this decision.

Recently, taking to her YouTube vlogs, Dipika Kakar confirmed the news of her leaving the show, Celebrity MasterChef midway. The actress shared that during the festival season on the show, when everybody was preparing to give their best shot, she suddenly started feeling pain in her shoulder. Dipika added that despite medication, the pain was still there.

Dipika revealed being diagnosed with lymph nodes, which was the root of the pain. The discomfort was too much for Dipika and the production people even had to take the actress to the hospital. Sharing that she has decided to prioritise her health and well-being for a while, Dipika stated:

"Last week when the contestants were celebrating festivals, I started getting pain in my shoulder. Since the time I reached the sets, I started getting shoulder pain and the production people took me to the hospital."

How much has Dipika Kakar earned from Celebrity MasterChef, and how much she could have earned if she had stuck to the end?

Dipika Kakar enjoys a massive net worth of Rs. 35-40 crore. Although, she took a break from the acting world, she is quite active on her YouTube channel and social media, where she earns a hefty salary. Well, if the reports are to be believed, Dipika has charged a whopping Rs. 2.30 lakh per week for her stint in the show, Celebrity MasterChef. That means her total income from the show is Rs. 9.20 lakh. If she could have been there till the end of the show, given the tenure of 10 weeks, then her total income would have been Rs. 32.20 lakhs.

While everyone is familiar with Dipika Kakar's professional career as an actress, not many know that she began her career as an air hostess. Dipika worked as an air hostess at Jet Airways for about 3 years. After the same, she faced some health issues, for which she left her job and found an opportunity to work in the entertainment industry as an actress. She was seen in several famous TV shows such as Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Sasural Simar Ka, and Hum Kahaan Tum. She was also seen in Bigg Boss 12 and Nach Baliye 8. A few months back, the actress even launched her clothing line, and she halted it for a bit as she got an offer in the cooking reality show.
