Dimple Kapadia is one of Bollywood's renowned actresses who continues to be part of many hit movies even now. Dimple made her acting debut at the age of 14 with the 1973 film, Bobby, co-starring, Rishi Kapoor. The film gained her immense stardom, and following this, she appeared in several movies, including Saagar, Ram Lakhan, Rudaali, Dil Chahta Hai, and Pathaan . She even went global with her role in Christopher Nolan's Tenet ! Dimple Kapadia recently shared an interesting anecdote about a strange demand from the Inception director, who liked the earrings that she adorned during one of their shoots.
It is no secret that Christopher Nolan loves India, and he shot some scenes of his movies, such as The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and Tenet , in India. Veteran actress, Dimple Kapadia was an essential part of the 2020 movie, Tenet and recently opened up about her experience on set. Although Christopher Nolan is known for his intellectual films about complex topics like time inversion and intergalactic travel, he is also a genuinely charming and innocent person.

Dimple Kapadia revealed in an interview with Vogue India that the director loved a pair of her earrings while costume fitting. The actress recalled that she immediately took off her earrings and put them on. She added that Christopher Nolan then thanked them and even said she could leave the earrings after the filming was over. She laughed about it and said she gave them away as requested. In her words:
"I promptly took out my earrings and wore them. Christopher Nolan turned around and said, 'Oh, they're lovely. You can leave them behind after your shoot."
Out of respect, Dimple Kapadia left her piece of jewellery with Oppenheimer 's director. Furthermore, Dimple Kapadia also hailed the time inversion film's costume designer, Jeffrey Kurland, for an 'extraordinary' look she donned in Tenet . Jeffrey has also worked in other Nolan films like Dunkirk and Inception for the uninitiated. Dimple Kapadia portrayed the character, 'Priya', in the Tenet. Her role was short, but the powerful impact of her character in Tenet was highly appreciated.

In the same conversation, the actress thanked God from the bottom of her heart for providing her with so many possibilities in her early career. Dimple claimed that it has been an incredible experience to collaborate with so many talented actors and filmmakers. Without God's direction, she acknowledged jokingly that she could have become conceited. Dimple also humorously said that the only thing God did not give her was a 'brain.'
