Diljit Dosanjh Pauses Hong Kong Concert To Offer Prayers For Rajvir Jawanda Says, 'Dua Mei Asar Hai'

Punjabi singer and actor, Diljit Dosanjh moved the audience at his Hong Kong concert. He paused and told his fans to offer a heartfelt dua for his 'veera', fellow singer, Rajvir Jawanda. For the unversed, it was on September 27, 2025, when Rajvir met with a road accident and suffered serious head as well as spine injuries. He was initially taken to a civil hospital before being shifted to Fortis Hospital, Mohali. Diljit moved his fans with his 'ardaas' (request) to pray for Rajvir's speedy recovery.

Diljit was performing at Hong Kong when he paused the concert and requested his fans to pray for Rajvir. He called him a very dear brother and also a great singer, and requested his thousands of fans to pray so that Rajvir would bounce back on the stage. Rajvir was involved in an unfortunate bike accident in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district. Diljit, who looked upset while speaking to Rajvir, shared:

"Sada bahut hi pyaara veer. Bahut hi sona veera, Rajvir Jawanda. Kal accident hoya bike pe. Please unke liye dua karei. Dua mei bahut saar hai. Woh jaldi se jaldi theek hoh. Please pray for him. Prayers have a lot of impact. He should get well soon. He should come back to us, back on stage. He is a very beautiful singer, Rajveer Veera."

One user, after seeing Diljit requesting fans to pray for Rajvir, commented, "Health, healing, and higher vibrations only — Waheguru ji kirpa kare." Others wrote, "Waheguru theek karnge jaldi. Waheguru ji Rajveer bai nu sheti thik ho jave." A fan also wrote, "One thing has to be seen in the Punjabi industry, whether it is a singer or a film artist, there is no hatred for anyone but love for each other."

Diljit, in his prayers for Rajvir, also shared how the singer has always avoided controversies. The crowd became emotional, and he shared how the young artist has always won the hearts of everyone with his singing and wave of humility. Diljit also added that when one prays with a true heart, prayers do get answered. The video of Diljit requesting his fans to pray for Rajvir has now widely circulated on social media.

Diljit was seen requesting his fans in a mix of Hindi and Punjabi when he was thinking of Rajvir. Diljit's team had shared the video, and in the caption, did mention the name of the singer. Diljit himself has been praying a lot for the singer's speedy recovery and was seen becoming emotional during his concert. On the other hand, Punjab's CM, Bhagwant Mann, posted an update on Rajir's health and shared a visit to Fortins in Mohali. The CM noted:

"Rajvir Jawanda was the victim of a terrible road accident. He has been undergoing treatment here since yesterday. His fans worldwide are praying for his recovery. Today, I met with his family and doctors. His condition is better than yesterday,”

The CM also noted that Rajvir's condition had improved a bit. The singer has been known for his songs such as Kali Jawande Di, Mera Dil, Sardari, to name a few and has also worked in Punjabi cinema.
