Varinder Singh Ghuman's friends blamed the doctors of Fortis, Amritsar, for the untimely demise of the Punjabi bodybuilder. They alleged that the Tiger 3 actor's body turned blue at the hospital, but the administration did not check on him, as reported by Dainik Bhaskar. According to the friends' account, the doctors left Varinder unattended for a long time and did not provide him with adequate medical help to stabilise his condition. They accused the doctors of purposeful negligence and insisted on watching the CCTV footage of Varinder's bicep operation.

Following that, a debate started between Varinder's friends and the Fortis doctors over the matter. Dr. Aniket stated that a record of all medications given during and after the operation is recorded in the file, which is available for checking. However, regarding CCTV footage, the doctors informed them that there was no recorded evidence of the operation, and the only footage available was of the outside of the OT room, and Varinder's bed was not visible from that angle. Varinder's friends alleged foul play and wanted a proper investigation into the matter.

When media personnel reached out to the hospital officials for a comment, Dr. Romi, a medical superintendent, said that a medical bulletin regarding Varinder Singh Ghuman's case would be issued soon. She refused to share any further information, stating that it was too early to comment. As of now, ministers have been made aware of the situation and are looking into it; however, no case has been filed by the police or Varinder's friends and family.
