Samantha Ruth Prabhu got married to Naga Chaitanya on October 7, 2017, in a traditional Tamil Brahmin ceremony. For the wedding day, Samantha wore Naga Chaitanya's grandmother's saree. It was a heirloom ivory-hued piece with golden border, and she styled it with a red-hued blouse. The blouse had golden zardosi embroidery all over it. It is reported that the saree was fixed by her best friend, Kresha Bajaj, who did the final touches. 

However, after Samantha and Naga Chaitanya divorced each other in 2021, the former returned the outfit to her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya and his family. Samantha was clear in her head that she didn't want to keep anything that belonged to her ex-husband and his family.

After three years of a tough time, Samantha found love again in Raj Nidimoru. Reports of their relationship surfaced in early 2024, after they were spotted together. They even arrived at red carpet events together, but chose to avoid posing for the paps. It is even reported that Samantha visited Raj in the US and met his family. 

Samantha and Raj got married on December 1, 2025, in a low-key ceremony at Isha Yoga Centre's Ling Bhairavi Temple. Around 30 close relatives and friends have attended the celebration. Samantha and Raj announced their wedding by sharing theirc celebration pictures.
