The post made many fans speculate that it was directed at Travis. In the video, Lawson was spotted working out at the gym as a text flashed across the screen. The cryptic text read:

"One day, someone might tell your kids… 'You're just like your dad.' Make sure it's a compliment, not an insult."

Further, Lawson captioned the post with a Bible verse about integrity, responsibility, and good character. Even the message made many netizens interpret it as a response to Travis' confession. They quickly took to the comments section, praising Lawson for his loyalty and protectiveness towards his sister. However, soon Lawson turned off the comments section, creating confusion. Although he did not directly call out Travis, the timing of the post, just hours after his confession, made fans wonder who the message was meant for.

What did Travis Clark state about his extramarital affair? 

Travis Clark confirmed his infidelity through an Instagram story on January 17, 2026, after his wife, Katie Bates, announced her pregnancy loss. He admitted that it was was not easy for him, but he felt he needed to apologize for his actions. Travis highlighted that he had repeatedly broken her test, and he was the only one responsible. Subsequently, he asked for some privacy for his wife, Katie is dealing with a difficult chapter in his life. In his words:

"I was unfaithful to my wife. I had an affair and repeatedly broke her trust. There is no excuse for what I did. This was my failure and my responsibility alone. I am truly sorry for the pain, humiliation, and betrayal I caused my wife through my choices."
