Bollywood actress, Dia Mirza is enjoying every moment of her motherhood journey with her little boy, Avyaan Azad Rekhi. For the unversed, after dating for a few years, Dia Mirza had tied the knot with Vaibhav Rekhi in an intimate ceremony. Later, in May 2021, the couple embraced parenthood with the arrival of their son, Avyaan. The doting mommy often shares lovely glimpses of her baby boy.
For those who don't know, the initial phase of Dia's motherhood journey was bumpy as her son was a premature baby and he was in NICU for 90 days. After which, Dia had announced the birth of her first child. On July 14, 2021, Dia revealed in a long note that she had an emergency C-section delivery, after which, her baby was admitted to NICU.

On July 24, 2022, Dia took to her Instagram handle and posted a cutesy glimpse of her son, Avyaan. In the video, we can see Avyaan searching the bookshelf for a perfect book, and it shows his love for reading at a young age. The little boy looked adorable in a muted green-toned onesie. Atop it, the doting mommy added a 'Sunday' sticker.

On the first birthday of Avyaan, Dia had recalled his health condition. The doting mother had bared her out on the moment when she was informed about her son's surgery to save his life. Sharing a monochrome picture with her baby, Dia had written:
"Our Jaan, our miracle, you were born on this day 1 year ago with the song ‘Imagine’ playing. You were 3 months premature at 820 gms. 36 hours after birth we discovered you had necrotising enterocolitis and had to go through life saving surgery. You were cared for and nourished in the NICU with a stoma for 90days and finally sent home to us with a stoma."
On the work front, Diza Mirza will be next seen in the film, Dhak Dhak!
