Dharmendra's 90th Birthday To Be Hosted By Bobby And Sunny Deol, Farmhouse Will Be Open For Fans

The legend of Indian cinema, Dharmendra, left his family and fans in mourning when he passed away on November 24, 2025. The veteran actor was just a few weeks shy of turning 90 when he made his way to the heavenly abode. However, as per reports, the Deols are still going to celebrate Dharmendra's 90th birthday posthumously in honour of his life and legacy. Here are the details about the event that will be hosted by Sunny and Bobby Deol.

On December 8, 2025, Dharmendra would have been 90 years old. A source close to Hindustan Times stated that his family intends to celebrate the late actor's bittersweet milestone with an event in his honour. As of now, the logistics of the event are being planned by Bobby and Sunny, who will be hosting it at Dharmendra's Khandala farmhouse. 

Dharmendra's Khandala farmhouse might be opened for fans on his 90th birthday

The insider shared with the portal that the Deols are thinking about opening up Dharmendra's Khandala farmhouse to fans on the occasion of his 90th birthday so that the public can pay their final respects. For the unversed, Dharmdenra's funeral was a private affair. There was no state funeral for him, which is usually conducted for public figures so that the general population can bid their farewells, too. Hence, having realised how ardently Dharmendra's fans want to pay their final respects, the Deols are reportedly planning to open the farmhouse's doors to them. However, it isn't an official meet-and-greet event. The source shared:

"It's not that they've organised a special fan event or anything, but they have opened the doors for people who want to come in and honour their father's legacy. As for arranging transport, they may consider it, since the route to the farmhouse isn't easily accessible to everyone. However, that will depend on how many people plan to attend, which isn't confirmed yet."

Will Hema Malini attend Dharmendra's 90th birthday tribute?

Following Dharmendra's death, the rift between his two families has been visible publicly. The late actor had two wives, and his families from both these marriages led very separate lives. His family with his first wife, Prakash Kaur, which includes their four children, Sunny, Vijeyta, Ajeeta, and Bobby, held a private prayer meet on November 27, 2025. Meanwhile, Hema Malini not only remained absent from the meet but also held another Gita path at her residence. Moreover, in October 2025, a month before Dharmendra's death, Bobby told ABP Live that Dharmendra was residing with his first wife at the Khandala farmhouse. Given this situation, it remains to be seen if Hema Malini will be invited to the event hosted by her stepsons.
