Dhanush is one of the most prominent actors in the South Indian cinema with an undeniable presence in the Tamil film industry. He has also worked in Bollywood with filmmaker, Anand L. Rai in his films like Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re that has brought him fame in the Hindi film industry. Despite highs and lows in his career, he has maintained a strong hold in the hearts of his fans with his impeccable talent. The actor was married to Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, and the couple has two sons together, Yatra and Linga, with Yatra giving them a reason to celebrate.
Dhanush and Aishwaryaa's two sons, Yatra and Linga were born in 2006 and 2010 respectively. Yatra appeared for his class 12th board exams this year and has given his family a reason to be proud of him. Several reports revealed that he has scored excellent marks in the exams. He has scored 98 out of 100 in linguistics, 92 in English, and 99 in mathematics. The star kid has performed equally well in science, scoring 91 in physics, 92 in chemistry, and 97 in biology. As a result, he scored 569 out of 600 marks.

Dhanush made his debut as a lead actor in the film, Thulluvadho Ilamai. As his career progressed, he met and fell in love with Aishwaryaa, the daughter of veteran actor, Rajinikanth. Soon, they married in 2004, and were blessed with two sons, Yatra and Linga. After marriage, Aishwaryaa ventured into the film industry as a director with the film, 3 in 2012. Dhanush played the lead role in her debut directorial film and she continued to work on other films with different actors. However, she gradually left work to look after her kids.
The couple used to serve fans with relationship goals by supporting each other throughout their marriage until they announced their separation in 2022. It left the fans shocked and guessing about the possible reasons, creating a stir on social media. Dhanush took to social media to share the divorce news after 18 years of marriage.

Aishwaryaa reshared the same post on her social media handle. Although they have decided to go different ways in life, it hasn't stopped them from co-parenting their kids with complete attention. Yatra's good marks reflect that approach.

On the work front, both of them have been focusing on their careers. Recently, Aishwaryaa returned to filmmaking with her new directorial project, Lal Salaam. She shared the posters of the project on social media handles. It featured a cameo by her father, Rajinikanth. However, it failed to attract the audiences to cinema due to its poor execution. Nevertheless, she is determined to pursue her passion. Dhanush's upcoming film, Raayan, is set to hit theatres, with fans eagerly waiting for it.
