Dhanush's Manager Named In Shocking Casting Couch Incident By Manya, Told Her To Make 'Adjustments'

Manya Anand is a TV actress who has appeared in shows like Vanathai Pola and film, Raja Rani, Roarer Rocket. The actress has just begun her journey in the entertainment world. However, rather than her work, a shocking incident has brought her to the limelight. The actress has accused Shreyas (allegedly Dhanush's manager) of asking her to make 'adjustments' during a casting couch session.

Manya Anand accused Dhanush's manager

A man named Sreyas, reportedly associated with Tamil star, Dhanush, has been accused of casting couch by television actress, Manya Anand. In a recent interview, Manya claimed that Shreyas is Dhanush's manager and accused him of repeatedly asking her for "adjustment" for a long time. The actress stated that the manager not only invited her to join some upcoming film projects linked to Dhanush but also made a few objectionable requests.

According to the actress, Shreyas told her that 'there is commitment', to which she bluntly told him, "What commitment? Why should I give commitment?" However, when Manya stated that she does not want to accept any such offers, Sreyas continued to pressure her. The actress claimed that the man even dropped Dhanush's name and reportedly stated:

"You will not comply even if it's Dhanush sir?"

In the same interview, Manya Anand also claimed that Shreyas had sent her the location details of Dhanush's production house, Wunderbar Films, and asked her to meet. The actress recalled that he had sent her scripts, which she did not read. In an interview with India Today, the actress said she refused to do the film under such conditions.

During the interview, Manya Anand said that when someone reaches out to them for work, they can expect that, but nothing else in return. She added that if artists started accepting such conditions, then they wouldn't be artists but something else. She was quoted as saying:

"I did not read it. I am not doing the film. We're artists. We are doing some other work. You take work from us but don't expect something else in return. If we comply with your demands, then we'd be named something else. I think it'd be better if people recognised this pattern and sorted it out."

Dhanush and his manager haven't reacted to the accusations

After Manya Anand made the accusations, the news spread online like wildfire. However, neither Dhanush nor Shreyas has reacted to the claims as of now. While fans wait to see if the actor will respond to the allegations, others have expressed concern that the man may actually be impersonating Shreyas. Amid this, a statement from Shreyas on a similar matter has resurfaced, dated January 2024. The statement could be read as:

"Hello, this is to bring to everyone’s notice that a casting call requirement for Dhanush Sir's next film is absolutely untrue. The message circulating with my name and phone number is fake. Thank you"
