Dhanashree Verma Breaks Down As Her Co-Contestant Points Finger At Her Character, 'I Feel Unsafe..'

Dhanashree Verma has been in the news for some time due to her divorce from Yuzvendra Chahal. The duo got married in 2020, and by March 2025, they had divorced. Dhanashree and Yuzi had initially remained silent about the same, but later discussed it. The real reason for Dhanashree and Yuzi's divorce was not known, but Dhanashree was questioned multiple times about it, and she was subjected to character assassination, even before the divorce. It seems that the dancer took a mental toll after being questioned about her character, as she recently broke down in tears after her co-contestant pointed fingers at her.

Dhanashree Verma breaks down in tears as Aahana Kumar points a finger at her character

Dhanashree Verma is currently part of Rise and Fall, and during a recent episode, the dancer was informed by Akriti Negi that Aahana Kumar had made several allegations and comments against the former in the past. Aahana Kumar reportedly made comments about Dhanashree's character, citing her perceived clingy nature towards men.

Well, after she heard this comment, Dhanashree couldn't hold it anymore and broke down in tears. Sharing her feelings, Dhanashree revealed that she was actually coming from a place of disappointment, as she had earlier found out that Aahana had made some comments against her while they were in the penthouse. Dhanashree Verma can be quoted as saying:

"I am actually coming from a space of disappointment. When Aahana was in the penthouse, I found out that she said something about me, and I felt bad about it. I cried a lot that day. Despite that, when Aahana was cornered, Arbaz and I stood by her. I had very clearly told her that there are some reasons why people don’t talk to her."

In the same episode, Dhanashree Verma mentioned that despite finding out Aahana had made comments about her, she and Arbaaz actually stood by her in those moments when no one was there. She also said that she had clearly told Aahana that there were certain reasons why people avoided talking to her, and had confronted her by saying that her words had actually stung her. Dhanashree mentioned that she has no idea why Aahana keeps talking about her in the basement, as she personally hasn't discussed anyone on the show, avoiding personal topics. Mentioning that she doesn't like the environment of this show, and cannot even trust anyone anymore, Dhanashree revealed:

"I even told her I was deeply hurt by her words, but now I don’t know what she is talking about me in the basement. I have felt bad. I have never said anything against anyone on the show, yet I never dragged my personal life on the show. I am told I am getting influenced, but that’s not true. I don’t like this environment. I have seen life, and I know I cannot trust Aahana  anymore."

When the divorce rumours between Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal began, the dancer was subjected to character assassination. Speaking about this, in an interview with Arbaaz Patel, Dhanashree stated that she has left behind all the gossip and speculation surrounding her divorce from Yuzi. Then, Arbaaz mentioned that he's well aware of the person with whom Yuzi is now, hinting at the cricketer's rumoured GF. Dhanashree further mentioned that whatever was spread against her, all of them were made-up stories, and they were spread because there had been a sense of fear in the person who spread such rumours about her opening up and revealing the truth.
