The Jonas Brothers kicked off their JONAS20 tour on August 10, 2025, at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium. However, it was the surprise guest at their concert who hogged the headlines.

It was earlier reported that Demi Lovato was heard doing a soundcheck with the Jonas Brothers at MetLife Stadium earlier on August 10, 2025, which left the fans buzzing about a possible Camp Rock 3 reunion. However, minutes later, the singer took the stage with the Jonas Brothers, leaving the fans completely stunned. 

Speculators on X seem to agree that Demi Lovato might have finalised a deal with Disney to return as 'Mitchie Torres', as a third sequel of the beloved Disney Channel film is in the making. However, none of those rumours could be confirmed. Nonetheless, her presence at the show definitely left everyone delighted.

While Demi Lovato has attended some of the milestone moments in Jonas Brothers' personal lives, it was their first professional appearance since Camp Rock 2. Now, fans have been reacting to the same. There have been rumours suggesting Disney is quietly developing a third instalment of the beloved Camp Rock franchise, set roughly 15 years after 2010's Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. While official announcements remain under wraps, speculation intensified after Demi Lovato recently followed the Jonas Brothers back on Instagram. Whether it was just because of their concert collaboration or if there is more to the story remains unclear. However, if the whispers are true, the film would mark the first on-screen reunion of Lovato and the Jonas Brothers since their Disney Channel days.

Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato became close friends during their Disney era. However, their bond showed signs of distance around 2018, following Demi's overdose and Jonas Brothers' return to the spotlight. Demi even skipped both Nick and Joe's weddings, and since then, the friendship has stayed largely out of the public eye - until now.
