Deion Sanders, better known as 'Prime Time,' is not just a football legend; he has been a cultural icon in the early 2000s. After having several accomplishments in his bag like Hall of Fame honours, two Super Bowls, and a vibrant career as a college football coach, he has been a familiar name in the headlines. But, beyond the charm, Deion's personal life is as dramatic as his moves in football. There had long been speculations about the former NFL player's health. Now, a while ago, in a deeply emotional press conference, Deion addressed it.

He revealed that he had been silently battling with a cancerous bladder tumour. After undergoing surgery to remove it and replace his bladder, the football legend is presently in remission. While the way ahead for his professional career is yet to be seen, his recent health scare was followed by years of medical challenges like blood clots and partial toe amputation. Deion Sanders's college romance with his first wife, Carolyn 

Deion Sanders first tied the knot with Carolyn Chambers, whom he met during his college days. They met by chance and used to talk for hours. Soon, love blossomed, and they tied the knot in 1989. Over years, they welcomed two kids, Deiondra and Deion Jr. Carolyn has been a successful author and real estate professional. However, the marriage soon ended by 1998, when Carolyn got custody of their kids, leaving Deion heartbroken to the extent that he tried to harm himself, as he described in his autobiography. 

Coach Prime gave another chance to love and married model and actress, Pilar Biggers. With Deion's rising fame and her popularity, they soon became a high-profile couple, frequently spotted on red carpets, and even starred in a reality show. They became parents to three children, Shilo, Shedeur, and Shelomi. However, the marriage ended messily with accusations, courtroom battles, and public arrests.

Deion Sanders and Pilar Sanders's marriage hit rock bottom when she accused him of physical abuse and claimed that he choked her while they were working on their reality show. They had a bitter custody battle, following which Coach Prime got the custody of their sons, and their daughter's custody was divided between both parents, which Pilar criticised. She even accused him of forging their prenup agreement; however, the court ruling upheld its validity. Later, a report from TMZ stated that Pilar was arrested for reportedly attacking Deion before their children, and he later tweeted about it.

Deion Sanders's broken engagement and bond with kids

Deion Sanders also had a long-term relationship with TV producer, Tracey Edmonds, who he met at a movie premiere in 2012. They worked together on a TV show, Deion's Family Playbook, and they got engaged in 2019. Deion and Tracy stayed together during the pandemic, but new reports claimed that things changed after he joined the Colorado team as a coach. Later in 2023, she announced their mutual decision to separate. Coming to his kids, Deiondra works in the sports PR field while Deion Jr has his lifestyle brand. Shilo and Shedeur both have followed in their father's footsteps to join football, while Shelomi plays college basketball.

Meanwhile, Deion Sanders is presently being linked with a 36-year-old model, Karrueche Tran but none of them have made any confirmation.
