Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are among the most beloved Bollywood couples, known as goals to their fans. The couple recently left us in awe with the first-ever glimpse of their one-year-old daughter, Dua. The little one turned Sabyasachi Mukherjee's youngest muse as she turned with her mom in a red dress. The internet was filled with their adorable photos, and netizens couldn't help but be surprised. Amid this, an influencer shared a photo of her baby, claiming the little ones look the same. While her post got a whole lot ot traction, netizens aren't quite on the same page about the claims and the deed!

Influencer got slammed for comparing her daughter to Deepika and Ranveer's daughter, Dua Paukone Singh

Taking to her IG handle, influencer Shreyashi Debnath Gupta and her husband, Aniket Gupta, shared a photo of their daughter in a collage alongside Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's family photo with their daughter, Dua. In the photos, Shreyashi and Aniket were seen posing with their baby girl, who was decked up somewhat like Dua, in a red anarkali and two pigtails. Sharing the photo, Shreyashi wrote that she initially thought Dua was her daughter, Daisy, and added that she felt Dua and her daughter looked exactly the same. She penned the caption as:

"How can they look so much similar? For a moment, I truly thought it was my Daisy! Anyone else see the resemblance?"

No sooner did Shreyashi Debnath drop the photo than people started showering it with love. Meanwhile, a certain section of netizens didn't find the idea of Shreyashri comparing her daughter to Dua to be nice. Shreyashi got slammed and received lessons from internet users who claimed that Daisy didn't look like Dua, and that just because they wore similar dresses didn't mean they looked the same. On the other hand, some users said the little ones looked similar and defended the influencer, adding that she was just sharing it out of love and excitement, and that nothing else was there, including any intent to compare.

The main reason internet users were furious was that a little kid was being compared to another one, which just didn't feel right. One user penned, "Why do you people do such things only to grab attention and reach ??? Both are very very cute but not similar." Another user commented, "First things first - stop comparing your child with any other kid ( celebrity or non celebrity) this is absolutely tactless and people do anything to get attention."

Deepika Padukone's daughter's face was revealed on the occasion of Diwali

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had earlier requested the media not to circulate any photos of Dua. After the birth of their daughter, they hosted a meet-and-greet session for the paps and asked them not to click photos of their daughter. During that time, the guests revealed that Dua carries the facial features of both of her parents. Well, it proved to be right, as on the occasion of Diwali, Deepika and Ranveer revealed their little one's face. She donned a cute little red outfit, while making it a matching moment with her mumma. With two pigtails and a bindi, Dua looked like a little princess. Her cute little dimple and bright eyes instantly melted hearts, and netizens cannot stop gushing over the photos just yet.
