Deepika Padukone has been staying away from the media limelight as she is pregnant with her first child. The actress, who likes to keep her personal life away from the media glares, has purposely avoided flaunting her baby bump. However, this often makes her the target of trolls' opinions, but Deepika is unfazed by what nameless and faceless trollers think about her.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are awaiting the birth of their first child in September 2024. The actress, who is heavily pregnant, often gets papped in the city on dinner dates with her family and in-laws. According to a photographer, Pallav Paliwal, Deepika and Ranveer are all set to move into their new luxurious apartment.
However, Ranveer and Deepika will shift their base after the delivery of their baby. Earlier, a report by NDTV shared that the duo will become neighbours of Shah Rukh Khan. For the unversed, Ranveer Singh in collaboration with his father, Jagjit Sunder Singh Bhavnani's company had purchased the luxurious sea-facing quadruples for a whopping Rs. 110 crore in the high-end area near Shah Rukh's residence, Mannat.

For the unversed, the expensive apartment is built on the 16th to 19th floors of the building. It has 11,266 sq. ft. of space. They would also have a private terrace. Not only this, Ranveer and Deepika had also bought a bungalow in Alibaug for Rs. 22 crores. Deepika prefers investing her hard-earned money in real estate.
Deepika and Ranveer announced their first pregnancy in March 2024. According to a report by Times Now, Deepika Padukone has rejected the third season of The White Lotus because she wanted to be a 'hands-on' mom and focus her time on nurturing her baby. This is one of the major reasons she has not been signing any new projects and won't be returning to work anytime soon.

The report further stated that Deepika would not be hiring any nannies or nanas for her child. A source close to the couple shared that Deepika won't be letting Ranveer share the baby's chores as she wants to be a hands-on mommy. The source said:
"Deepika loves children. She bonds with them instinctively. You can be sure there will be no nannys or nanas to look after her child when it is born…I don’t think Deepika would ever let Ranveer share in parental chores. She will be a 100% hands-on mother."
