Deepika Padukone is easily counted as one of the most sought-after divas in Tinseltown. Known for her breathtaking looks, bold personality and incredible talents, Deepika garners a massive fanbase across millions. Apart from it, the diva also aces stunning sartorial picks, which simply proves that she's a true-blue fashionista. And recently, Deepika channelised some sustainable fashion goals, while busting the myth that actors, too, can repeat their outfits.
Back on November 12, 2023, Deepika Padukone and her hubby, Ranveer Singh had dropped scintillating glimpses of themselves, as they celebrated Diwali together. In the pictures, the lovebirds can be seen posing mushily, as they performed a havan ceremony on the auspicious day. However, it was the duo’s impeccable choice of ethnic wear for the day that caught all the attention. While Ranveer Singh looked dapper in a white-hued kurta-pyjama teamed with a floral embroidered Nehru coat, Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, won hearts in a red-hued outfit, teamed with a red and gold-hued silk dupatta.

Interestingly, on giving a closer look, one can easily identify that Deepika’s dupatta was originally a part of her wedding trousseau, and that she even wore it on the day when she returned to Mumbai after her wedding in Lake Como, and she and Ranveer made their first joint appearance as a married couple. For the unversed, the Banarasi silk dupatta was specially curated by the ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Back at that time, Deepika had paired this very dupatta with a beige-hued kurta-churidaar set.

Back on April 14, 2020, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had celebrated their first wedding anniversary by visiting the Tirumala Tirupati temple in Chennai. For their OOTD back then, Ranveer wore a gold-hued embroidered sherwani, teamed with a matching pyjama and a red-hued doshala. Deepika, on the other hand, shed sheer royal vibes in a red and gold-hued Banarasi saree from the shelves of ace-designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
Interestingly, Deepika’s gorgeous attire was a part of the wedding gift given to her by Ranveer’s parents. One can catch a glimpse of the same from one particular picture from the duo’s Konkani wedding. In that picture, Deepika was seen holding that particular saree on her lap as a part of the gifts, she received during the wedding rituals.

For the last few days, Deepika Singh and Ranveer Singh have been grabbing headlines, after they made some contradictory and casual comments about their relationship in the show, Koffee With Karan. While their revelations haven’t been liked by many, in a recent interview with Vogue, Deepika talked about spending time with her hubby, Ranveer being more important than anything else in her life. She also added that being busy with their work often, it sometimes becomes difficult for them to plan out time with one another and they instead ‘schedule’ it. In his words:
“Spending time with my husband is very important to me. You have to make the time… I have to say both he and I make the effort. It cannot be one-sided. We have to schedule it. In our professions, where one of us can be travelling for a month at a time or sometimes he might have a late night and I have an early morning, there are times when we are in the same city but hardly get quality time with each other. It’s not the quantum of time but the quality of that time we have together. We love it when it’s just the two of us but we also love spending time with our families."
