Deepika Padukone is all set to embrace a beautiful chapter of her life, as she will soon embrace motherhood for the first time in her life. For the unversed, the diva and her husband, Ranveer Singh will welcome their bundle of joy in September 2024. Despite the fact that she is an expectant mommy, Deepika hasn’t backed out of work completely, and has been enjoying her time while working simultaneously. And now, the diva dropped a very special glimpse of her new phase of life, i.e. pregnancy.
Taking to her IG handle, Deepika Padukone dropped a few special snapshots of herself. She slipped into a black-hued, halter neck dress that had a body-hugging silhouette. Her outfit featured a stunning centre-piece brooch, and she completed her look with smokey eye makeup, a low ponytail, black nail polish and a stack of accessories. While her million-dollar smile was breathtaking, it was the way in which Deepika flaunted her growing baby bump won all hearts. Placing her caressing hand over it, the mommy-to-be’s emotions expressed a thousand more feelings than anything else. Along with them, Deepika penned a witty note, that can be read as:
“Okay enough…Now I’m hungry!”

Well, ever since Deepika and Ranveer shared their ‘good news’ to their fans, the duo have never shied away from making plenty of appearances. Especially for the actress, she has been spotted a number of times by the paparazzi, where her baby bump became the centre of attention in no time. For instance, on June 2, 2024, Deepika was spotted out and about in the town. For her OOTD, the diva chose a comfortable, white-hued floral printed attire, that camouflaged her baby bump. Her simple look shed massive fashion goals for expectant mommies out there.
Back on May 21, 2024, Deepika Padukone shared a relatable post on her IG stories, which summed up her feeling during pregnancy. Talking about her experience with the hot weather prevailing all throughout the country, the diva remarked feeling as if stuck in a loop between switching on the air conditioner due to the heat, and then again turning it off after feeling cold. She further agreed to the note, and expressed how it becomes an endless loop thereafter.

Previously, in an old interaction with Rajeev Masand, Deepika Padukone was asked about the alternate choice of career she would be in, if not an actress. To this, the diva mentioned that she would then be a happily enjoying life with her family, and be surrounded with her children. Expressing how she would love to be blessed with three children, Deepika mentioned:
“If I was not an actor I don’t know what I would have been doing. But hopefully with some children around. Three little kids, scuttling about. Hopefully, be working enough to take them to shoots. Have a happy family. And at the same time, still doing what I am doing.”
