Deepika Padukone Dazzles In Black At First Event After Baby Dua's Birth, Netizens Say, 'Needs To..'

Deepika Padukone has been easing back into her professional front after welcoming her little bundle of joy, Dua Padukone Singh, in September 2024. The actress is one of the highest-paid actresses in the Hindi film industry and has been winning hearts since her debut with Om Shanti Om in 2007. Recently, the actress was spotted at an event, and she looked as radiant as ever.

Deepika Padukone has been slowly resuming work, and her appearances have been captivating our hearts. After Pariksha Pe Charcha, the actress now appeared at an event in Mumbai on February 15, 2025. For the event, Deepika served ethnic magic as she donned a long, full-sleeved black kurta.

It featured intricate zari work that covered the frontal panel with button detailing. The sleeves also featured a hem of the same zari work with red accents. The actress paired the look with a red dupatta with a golden border and intricate details. She draped the dupatta over her shoulder. To finish the look, the actress opted for earrings and a slick back hairstyle, which added stars to her look.

Deepika Padukone's fighter co-star, Anil Kapoor, was also in attendance. Jackie Shroff and Kartik Aryan were also spotted at the event. Anil Kapoor wore an all-black suit and matching formal shoes for the event. Jackie, on the other hand, donned a white shirt and a matching blazer, which he paired with black trousers, shoes, and sunglasses. Kartik Aryan went for a more casual look and wore a black t-shirt with a grey jacket and blue denim pants.

What's that atrocious hairstyle." Another user penned, "What is with her hair, girl? Please don't do this to you." A Redditor wrote, "DP needs to fire her hairstylist asap!" While some users were at odds about Deepika's hairstyle, a user pointed out that it is normal for a woman to go through changes after having a baby. They stated:

"I reckon she's probably lost a lot of hair which is normal after having a child. Though to be fair, this style would only highlight that even more. Leaving it open can still be styled to look volumised. Maybe she just wanted to be practical for her little one."

In January 2025, Deepika Padukone delighted her fans when she resumed work by opening Sabyasachi Mukherjee's 25th-anniversary show. Deepika recently also graced Prime Minister, Narendra Modi's initiative to raise awareness about mental health during a segment of Pariksha Pe Charcha. During this time, she shared her journey and battle with mental health. However, that was not all, the actress also made an appearance at  Cartier's A Journey of Wonderse exhibition at Al Shindagha Museum in Dubai.
