'De De Pyaar De 2' First Review, Ajay Devgn And Rakul Preet Shine In Fun And Flawless Rom-Com Film

The film, De De Pyaar De 2, starring Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, R. Madhavan and Gautami Kapoor is all set to hit the theatres on November 14, 2025. For the unversed, it is the sequel of the 2019 rom-com film, directed by Akiv Ali. Even though, the film is yet to be released, the first review of the film is out. Read on to know more about it.

Recently, actor turned film critic, Kuldeep Gadhvi took to his Instagram Stories to share the first review of the film, De De Pyaar De 2, directed by Anshul Sharma. In his review, he called the first a ‘full on rollercoaster ride’ and revealed that the film brings back the madness of modern love, laughter and second chances. Talking about the overall film and experience, he shared:

"Full on roller coaster. De De Pyaar De 2, directed by Anshul Sharma and written by Tarun jain and Luv Ranjan, brings back the madness of modern love, laughter and second chances but this time with deeper emotions and stronger chemistry."

He further continued to appreciate the acting of the lead cast, including Ajav Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, R. Madhavan and Jaaved Jaaferi. He also appreciated the supporting cast and said, "They add charm and balance to the story, each fitting perfectly into the emotional world of these characters." Talking about the actors, he shared:

"Ajay Devgn as Ashish Mehra once again proves why he is one of Bollywood's most effortless performers. His charm, maturity, and comic timing are flawless. He carries the emotional and fun moments with complete ease and confidence. Rakul Preet Singh as Ayesha Khurana shines brighter this time-she's confident, emotionally expressive. And her chemistry with Ajay Devgn is even more natural and believable."

De De Pyaar De 2 is an upcoming film directed by Anshul Sharma, starring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. The story follows Ajay Devgn as 'Ashish Mehra', an older NRI investor, who falls in love with 'Ayesha' (Rakul Preet Singh), who is almost half his age. For those who don't know, the first film showed 'Ashish' and 'Ayesha' convincing the former's family. In the upcoming family, the couple will be seen trying to convince 'Ayesha's' family.

In her personal life, she is married to actor, Jackky Bhagnani.
