Danish Taimoor and Ayeza Khan are among the most admired couples in Pakistan's entertainment industry. They have won hearts with both their on-screen and off-screen chemistry that always leaves the fans in awe. Danish and Ayeza have been married for over a decade, and their mature views on marriage and relationships impress netizens. The individually successful actors are also parents to two kids, making a perfect happy family. Recently, the couple appeared on a TV show where Danish commented on polygamy that didn't go down well with the fans. Now, the Haara Dil actor opened up about the same.
Danish Taimoor recently appeared on a Ramadan special show, Mahfil E Ramadan, with his wife, Ayeza Khan. During the conversation, he explained that he is yet (filhaal) living with his wife out of love but has permission to have four wives. Netizens criticised the actor for disrespecting his wife. Recently, he again appeared on a TV show where he was asked about the reason why he mentioned that he mentioned filhaal while talking about polygamy rights in Islam. In turn, Danish explained that he is still adamant about his statement and choice of words. He said:
“Aur main iss baat ko apni statement ko aaj bhi bolunga mujhe aaj bhi 4 shadiyon ki ijazat hai. Main kar nahi raha kyunki main pyaar karta hua apni biwi se aur uske saath hu filhaal, kyunki mujhe nahi pata main yaha se nikal ke zinda rahunga ya nahi. Main toh ho sakta hai ek second mein mar jao. Toh yeh jo lafz hai na ki main hamesha hu, yeh hamesha koi nahi yeh sakta kisi ke saath.”
Danish explained that people had misunderstood him. Moreover, he revealed that he and his wife, Ayeza, sat the night after the controversy and laughed, reading the criticising comments made against him. He highlighted that they have conducted more interviews in the last 15 days and mentioned many good things that went unnoticed. The actor mentioned that all he meant was that he couldn't be with his wife after his death. He said:
“Yeh baat hai na log galat samajh rahe hai. Kal main aur Ayeza na raat ko behte hue bahut haas rahe the, hum sirf comments pade aur hanse jaye kyunki na meri aise koi intention thi na uske, aap ek baat notice karo 15 Dino mein kisi ne hamari koi acche baat jo ham kar rahe the, woh viral nahi ki, iss tarah nahi ki, main aapko yahi kehta hu, gossiping jo hai na, yeh galat hai, mein issi chiz ke against hu jo log aapko baith ke judge karte hai aapke dil ki baat aap jaante jai ya Allah janta hai.”
When the clip of Danish Taimoor's explanation behind his controversial statement went viral, netizens were quick to allege that it was an attempt from his side to cover up the stir caused by his words. One fan penned, "Baat ko cover-up karna Danish se seekhe." Another netizen penned, 'Your true colours have shown now." One user gave a humorous touch to the statement and said:
“Bohot accha cover kiya bhai ne…filhaal ka matlab zindagi se ni bhai. Next step, uthane se hai. Sai baat ya ab aise clear kar rahe hai. Ghar pe khichai hui hai.”
