Well, it was seen that dancing partners, Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov, were eliminated from the show despite both earning 34 out of 40 from the judges. At one end, the audiences were not happy with the scores; they could not be saved, and on the other side, Danielle broke down, speaking of her breast cancer diagnosis. Danielle Fishel shares of having breast cancer during the rehearsals on the sets of Dancing With The Stars Season 34

Danielle Fishel of Boy Meets World fame cried a river on the sets of Dancing With The Stars Season 34 when she spoke about her breast cancer diagnosis. This was before her elimination, and Danielle revealed how, in 2024, she was first diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). It is a noninvasive, stage-zero cancer that is trapped inside the milk ducts. Danielle had to undergo two surgeries and 20 rounds of radiation before she got a clear mammogram revealing that her cancer was gone. Danielle, who was trying to hold her tears, said:

"I have remained incredibly positive since my diagnosis. I'm feeling really proud, and I don't often feel that way. I want to show the benefit of being able to take hardship and being able to rise above. Kinda surreal that we get to dance to one of our all-time favorite songs tonight! This one feels extra special."

Danielle Fishel and her partner, Pasha Pashkov, performed on Aerosmith's Dream On due to her cancer diagnosis

Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov were seen performing a contemporary dance style on Aerosmith's Dream On. Pasha, a while back, took to his Instagram handle to share throwback pictures from the dance rehearsal. He shared how he and Danielle felt surreal as they got to dance to their all-time favourite songs, which made it feel extra special. Danielle, earlier in an interview with EW.com, shared how the song, Dream On helped her fight cancer. She recollected:

"This song really inspires me to live out my dreams, because as my cancer diagnosis showed me last year, you never know when your time could be up. That's the outlook I have in life, anyway."

Danielle Fishel came to know about being diagnosed with cancer before she joined Dancing With The Stars

On the sets of Dancing With The Stars, Danielle shared that she did not have the guts to say it to the public about having cancer. When she had first heard about the term cancer, she felt that the floor beneath her literally disappeared. However, dancing had given Danielle like a reason to rise and also fight. Danielle shared how she remained positive during the entire journey and did the show because just a cancer diagnosis could not stop her life. She said:

"I want to show the benefit of being able to take hardship and being able to rise above."

Fans of Danielle feel that she deserved to stay in the show. She was eliminated after the judges did not find her performance up to the mark, and her fans expressed sadness at her exit. Danielle's fans still feel that a lot of injustice has happened with her, but they could emotionally resonate with her cancer story.
