Dancing with the Stars Season 34 is heading into its high-stakes semi-finale in a few hours on November 18, 2025. Needless to say, the pressure on celebrities, their professional partners, and even those who will be voting for them is higher than ever before. After Andy Richter's exit in the 20th anniversary Birthday Party on week 9, only six couples are left in the race to get the Mirrorball trophy.
According to previews on ABC and Disney+, every pair will now perform two dances in week 10: one new style and one repeat performance, amid the increasing difficulty level leading up to the finale. As Judges, Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli are going to be more particular with their judgment, let's see what the scoreboard could look like in week 10.
One of the strongest contenders heading into week 10 is Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, who have received remarkable fan support throughout the season. It was evident last week that he was here to stay when Robert got perfect scores in the technical challenge. Although judges have hinted that other contestants are more polished, public support can give the Australian conservationist a significant edge over others.
Meanwhile, Whitney Leavitt, a dance major with Mark Ballas, is one of the most technically polished contestants of this season, consistently delivering her best week after week with precision, control, and clean choreography, which has largely secured her a spot in the finale. Apart from them, Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy are other contestants shining at the right moment. Just as the judge, Carrie Ann Inaba noted in the recent broadcast, her confidence and technique have improved dramatically in the second half of the competition. Although she entered the show as an unfamiliar name, her consistent growth and popularity among the youth can secure her a safe seat in the finale in week 11.
Another top-performing pair to watch is Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach, who tied for first place in last week's 9 with perfect scores. According to the feedback from judges, Dylan has shown the 'most improvement of the season' by transitioning from an uncertain beginner to a polished competitor. His strong performance on the show has earned him a loyal fan base, increasing his chances of advancing to the finale.

Not everyone will sail smoothly through Week 10. Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa have struggled with consistency on the scoreboard, and during the last live show, Jordan even fell into the mid-range bracket. Her athletic body has not helped her achieve a standout breakthrough moment like those of others. On the other hand, Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten, who received the lowest scores last week, still have significant fan support after returning from their Halloween Week injury. But the emotional surge is not enough. She will need to ace the technique, and any missteps can end her journey.
The Dancing With the Stars Season 34 semi-finale would honour the legendary Prince. It was easy to predict that the energy would be high with Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough hosting the show. The night will open with a troupe performance of Let's Go Crazy, choreographed by Luam Keflezgy. Meanwhile, the six remaining celebrity contestants, including Alix Earle, Robert Irwin, Whitney Leavitt, Dylan Efron, Elaine Hendrix, and Jordan Chiles, will each have two performances to qualify for a test of improvement and versatility.
Since no guest judge will join the panel in Week 10, Derek, Carrie Ann and Bruno's scores will carry more weight. Now, with the last elimination remaining between the contestants and the top five finalists of Dancing With The Stars Season 34, it will be important to see who confirms their spot and who will have to leave after coming so close to the Mirrorball trophy.

Who do you think will have to go back home before Dancing with the Stars Season 34's finale?
