Dan Scavino Proposes To His GF With Huge Diamond Ring At White House, After 7 Yrs Of Divorce

Recently, the White House grounds in the United States of America became a perfect proposal spot for Dan Scavino. For the uninitiated, the 49-year-old is the White House Deputy Chief of Staff and a close aide to the US President, Donald Trump. He left his girlfriend, Erin M. Elmore, surprised by going down on his knees with a ring in his hands. Before we share the proposal details, let's know more about Dan Scavino. 

Dan Scavino and his first marriage to Jennifer Scavino

Dan Scavino was born in January 1976 and was previously married to Jennifer Scavino. They got married in January 2000 and lived a happy life with their two sons. Howver, things changed after 18 years of marriage ,and it was Jennifer who filed for divorce in Duchess County, New York. But the reason for their separation has not been made public. 

Dan is a senior advisor to US President Donald Trump. He took over as a director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office in August 2025. It is worth mentioning that Dan Scavino has been working with Donald Trump since 2015, when Trump announced his first White House bid.  It is worth mentioning that Dan Scavino has attended the State University of New York, Plattsburgh, and he graduated with a BA in Communications.

In the clip, shared by Scavino and Elmore on their respective Instagram handle, the two were walking in the White House grounds. At a point, they both stopped with Erin's back facing Dan, and he took it as an opportunity and went down on his knees. He slid his hand into his pocket to surprise Erin with a huge diamond ring. The moment Erin turned around, she was left in awe. 

Erin covered her face and gasped for breath as she didn't expect the proposal from Dan. Filled with overwhelming emotions, she went on to kiss Dan, giving a romantic nod to the proposal. After which, Dan made Erin wear the ring, and she flaunted the huge diamond. Dan captioned the video by writing:

"She said YES."

Talking about their outfits, Ering was dressed in the most chic white-hued A-line dress in white with floral prints. The outfit featured puff sleeves and a round neck. She styled it with high heels. Subtle makeup and curly hair completed her look. On the other hand, Dan was dressed in a navy blue-hued formal suit.

Who is Erin Elmore?

Erin Elmore, State Department director of Art in Embassies, joined the position in April 2025. Erin earned a law degree from Villanova University and graduated with degrees in broadcasting and political science from the University of Miami in Florida.  She is also an attorney, journalist and philanthropist and has dedicated her life to the arts in the USA. Erin Elmore was previously married to actor Craig M. Spitzer, and they also have a child together.
