Dalljiet Kaur had to face a tough phase of life on the personal front. First, she got married to Shalin Bhanot, which ended on an ugly note. After that, she gave love another chance and got married to Kenya-based businessman, Nikhil Patel. Well, this time, too, it didn't work, and within just eight months of their marriage, Dalljiet had to move back to India with her son, Jaydon.
After a few days of being silent, the actress opened up about her marital life issues with Nikhil, and a lot of blame games started doing rounds. Nikhil, not only just denied the legality of his and Dalljiet's marriage, but also was accused of cheating on her. Now, Dalljiet had opened up about her parents' reaction to her second marriage which ended up being unsuccessful.
Dalljiet Kaur recently sat for an interview with Siddharth Kannan, wherein she was asked what was her parents' reaction when she moved to Kenya with Nikhil Patel, and now when everything has ended. Dalljiet shared that her parents were very happy with her settling down in her life yet again and Jaydon getting a father. The actress further mentioned that everyone at her and Nikhil's wedding cried during the vidaai ritual, including 40-50 cameramen who were there.
Dalljiet stated that her parents were extremely happy with her getting married again, as she was the youngest at home, so when things ended, it was heartbreaking for them. The actress remarked that seeing her parents in this state, she also decided to fight back, as her parents only attended the wedding of their daughter. She said that Nikhil's family was there at her home even 5 days before the wedding, and she was all happy as she was getting married. She also revealed that Nikhil's father, with folded hands, told her father that he would take responsibility for the actress and her son, and now they have all vanished.
