Dalljiet Kaur's destiny played a game again! The actress, who gave love another chance and got married to Nikhil Patel in March 2023, crushed all her dreams into pieces by separating from her within eight months of their marriage. While initially Dalljiet maintained a dignified silence, later she revealed how Nikhil had denied their wedding and called it just a 'cultural event'. Not only this, he even had an extramarital affair and was spotted in India, shattering Dalljiet's last hope of saving her second marriage.
Since Dalljiet came back to India, she has been sharing her feelings and talking about the injustice her estranged husband, Nikhil, did with her in the name of marriage. However, Nikhil's recent step left Dalljiet deeply hurt again. On September 16, 2024, Dalljiet shared a screenshot of Nikhil's IG story, wherein he was seen having a coffee, but it was a gold ring on his ring finger that shocked the actress.

Dalljiet called him out on Instagram and shared how he is 'wearing a ring again'. She also called out Nikhil's current partner, Safeena and slammed them. Dalljiet wrote:
"Congrats SN, must applaud the audacity to splash it again on social media. Well done both of you. Already wearing a ring again Nikhil. Well done."
Dalljiet also shared a long note on her Instagram stories and called him and his soon-to-be wife attention seekers. Dalljiet added that his partner, Safeena, knows that he still has a wife in India, whether he accepts it or not. She warned Nikhil that the Indian judicial would soon let him know about his marital status. Dalljiet also shared that Nikhil would give an excuse that he had worn it just as a piece of jewellery, but she knows his tactics.
Earlier, during an Instagram Live, Dalljiet expressed her anger and revealed how Safeena Nazar, who ruined her marriage, is already married with two kids. Dalljiet expressed how Safeena came in between her and Nikhil and filled the void, when the actress left in the hope of getting him back. She said:

"Aap khud shadi shuda ho, pati hai, 2 bachhe hai aur kisi aur ke pati ka void fill kar rahe ho? Why? I will have this question in my heart all my life. I do not think that she needed to do whatever she is doing. Kya pata, hoga unka koi reason shayad.''
On August 4, 2024, Dalljiet took to her Instagram handle and posted an Instagram story thanking Mumbai Police. Dalljiet expressed her nervousness as a woman entering a police station, but the officials understood her plight and took swift action. She added that this act of generosity forced her to pen down her emotions. Dalljiet also thanked the officials and stated that they proved that women are safe in this country.
