Conor Maynard On 2nd DNA Test Confirming He Is Not Father Of Charlotte's Baby, 'Difficult For Me..'

Conor Maynard and Charlotte Chilton were embroiled in a major controversy after the latter accused him of being the father of his baby girl. After months of silence, Conor Maynard spoke about the accusation in March 2025. Later, he patiently waited for the paternity test, and when the first test confirmed that he was not the father of Charlotte's beautiful daughter, she urged for another test, claiming that there was another male during the test.

Conor Maynard announced the result of the paternity test 

On August 22, 2025, Conor Maynard revealed the result of the second paternity test, which confirms he is not the father of Charlotte Chilton's daughter. He revealed that the test has yet again confirmed that he has no involvement with Charlotte. He added that the whole time has been extremely difficult for him and his entire family. He expressed that the topic can finally be put to an end. His note can be read as:

"Today I received the result of a second paternity test, which was requested by Charlotte Chilton regarding her baby girl, Penelope. As with the last test, this test has confirmed again that I am not Penelope's father. As Charlotte requested Penelope's Charlotte's  and my DNA were all taken at a Ministry of Justice accredited DNA testing facility that  was selected by Charlotte. The results are therefore conclusive. This has been difficult for me and my family, and I am so grateful for everyone's support. I'm glad we can finally now draw a line under this. I sincerally hope these results mean we can find a way to move on with our lives." 

Soon internet reacted to Conor's note, and took a dig at Charlotte. One user wrote, "I don’t know what is worse… that she keeps forcing it or lol she doesn’t know who she slept with." A second one commented, "I hope her apology is as loud as her accusations." A third one penned, "I’m so proud of you The false narrative has run its course and this chapter is closed. Now it’s time that same relentless energy is spent on finding the truth that actually matters." A fourth netizen wrote, "I feel sorry for that beautiful little girl whose mother doesn't even know who her dad is. Speaks volumes."

Charlotte Chilton's team released the first statement on behalf of her after the second paternity test result

Charlotte Chilton's team took to their social media handle and shared an official statement on behalf of her. They thanked people for supporting her in the battle to know the truth. They further mentined that Charlotte is now taking time to process, heal and reflect on what happened. She will share her full st ory when she gets better. A part of the post can be read as:

"We are forever grateful to everyone who has shown unwavering love and support to Charlotte over the past 12 months... Charlotte will now take time to process, heal and reflect and when she is ready, she will finally share her story in full."

When Conor broke his silence on claims that he was the father of Charlotte's daughter

In March 2025, Conor talked about his challenging year and how he was embroiled in the controversy after Charlotte alleged that he was the father of her daughter. In an interview with This Morning, Conor revealed that he has been struggling with his mental health for a long time, and this further added to it. He added that it was difficult for him to stay silent while he was being painted as a 'deadbeat dad'. He revealed:

"For the last year, things have been really difficult. Mental health is something I’ve struggled with my whole life, and this has been one of the most challenging periods. It was difficult to stay silent, especially when I was being painted as a deadbeat dad. The comments across my social media were all about that. Of course you want to defend yourself, but I didn’t feel it was right until I knew the truth."

Conor revealed that he had all the ideas about what the world was saying, but he didn't know what to say in public. His only focus was to take a paternity test to get clarity. He  said:

"I was aware of what was going on privately, but I had no idea it would become public. In my mind, the natural next step was to take a paternity test to get clarity and deal with it accordingly, but that’s not how it played out."
