Shah Rukh Khan Meets The Cast Of 'Come Fall In Love - The DDLJ Musical' Before Its UK Premiere

Shah Rukh Khan is the king of Bollywood, whose acting skills, handsomeness, and aura have a separate fan base. Among others, Shah Rukh's movie, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, remains one of the iconic in the world of Hindi cinema. Well, the musical will be staged as Come Fall In Love - The DDLJ Musical at the Manchester Opera House, UK from May 29, 2025, to June 21, 2025. Ahead of the premiere, the cast of the musical got a surprise from King Khan, the OG 'Raj' from DDLJ.

In a collaborative post dropped from the Come Fall In Love musical's official page, Shah Rukh Khan could be seen posing with real-life 'Rog' and 'Simran', Jeena Pandya, and Ashley Day of the musical. The actor looked handsome as he donned a white-toned T-shirt, which he teamed with blue jeans. Shah Rukh Khan let his hairstyle do all the talking with his minimalistic OOTD. He wore a sleek chain to finalise his look, and struck some cool poses with the cast of Come Fall In Love. As per the IG page, the actor paid a visit to the cast during rehearsal time and inspired everyone.

Jeena Pandey talks about meeting Shah Rukh Khan 

In an interview with The Hindustan Times, Jeena Pandey talked about meeting Shah Rukh Khan. The actress said that meeting the actor and having him in the rehearsal room was an honour. She further mentioned that he was supportive of the play, which is going to take place. Jeena further revealed that it will remain a life-long memory for her when they show him an iconic scene of Kajol and him in the rehearsal room. In Jeena's words:

"Meeting Shah Rukh Khan and having him in the rehearsal room was such an honour. He was so generous with his time and support for the show. Being able to show him some of the iconic scenes that he and Kajol originally established was an incredible feeling and will be a long-lasting memory for me. I can’t wait to head to Manchester next week and put this story on stage!”

Ashley Day talks about meeting with Shah Rukh Khan 

In the same interview, Ashley Day, who will play the role of 'Roger', Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raj' in the musical, talked about his meeting with the king. He said when SRK met every single one in the room, it quietly landed on them, which needed no words. He said SRK greeted everyone and showed genuine excitement about the play, which is going to take place. Ashley said that it was quite unimaginable to him how it must have felt like to see a project being built after 30 years in the form of a musical, but the actor kept asking about more and more. He also talked about having a private conversation with SRK, which means it was a conversation between DDLJ's 'Raj' and 'Rog', and King Khan was extremely happy. Talking more about the same, Ashley shared:

"Watching everyone take him in, I could feel how meaningful it was. He greeted us all with such love and genuine excitement about what we’ve been building. I can’t imagine what it must feel like to see a project—beloved by millions—being reimagined as a musical 30 years later. And yet, he kept asking to see more! The words we shared privately are for one Raj to another Rog—but I will say, he was very happy. It was an unbelievable afternoon. I’ll never forget it.”
