Prachi Nigam made headlines last month, not because she had topped her 10th class examination among 55 lakh students, but the amount of bullying she received due to her facial hair. It is sad how we might have eradicated the digital barrier of communication and made the entire nation tech-friendly, but we were not able to transform the thinking of people who still put a girl into a beauty box. Prachi Nigam, who hails from the small village of Sitapur, received a lot of hate on the internet for the way she looks. Recently, an influencer brightened her day with a pampering session.
On social media, everyone is an influencer, but the real influencer is the one who can transform a mindset. Anish Bhagat is one such content creator on a mission to change the world. Recently, he travelled all the way to Mahmudabad, Uttar Pradesh, to meet Prachi Nigam and pamper her. The creator highlighted the fact that the entire nation bullied her for the way she looked.

Anish stated that instead of being praised, she was trolled, and most women go through the same fate. In the video he posted on his IG handle, Anish stated that he decided to give her a glow-up. He made her hair and gave her a cute, sparkly manicure, and the end result was adorable. She looked at herself and proudly said, 'I look the same'. Prachi gave out the right message that you shouldn't change yourself just to fit in the box. By the end of the video, Prachi said:
"Dear women, don't try to fix something that was never broken."
For those who don't know, Prachi secured 98.5 percent marks in the class 10 UP board examination. A percentage we all can only dream of. However, people didn't mince their words while trolling her for her looks. In an interview with the IANS, Prachi first time opened up about the same and showed immense positivity despite the harsh words of the trollers. Prachi said:
"Trollers can live with their mindset, I am happy that my success is now my identity."

Further in the interview, Prachi stated that her attention has always been on her studies, and no one from her family, friends or teachers ever pointed out her facial hair as she was always focused on her studies. However, things changed when a picture of her was published after the result, and people started bashing her. She stated:
"My family, my teachers, my friends never criticised me for my appearance and I never bothered about it either. It was only when my photograph was published after the results that people started trolling me and then my attention was drawn to the problem."
Giving it back to the trollers, Prachi clearly stated that her aim is to become an engineer. At the end of the day, it is her marks that will matter and hold importance, not the hair on her face. She was quoted as saying:
"My aim is to become an engineer and what will ultimately matter are my marks and not the hair on my face."
We love Prachi's way of giving back to the trollers, and Anish Bhagat's way of bringing a change with his content!
