Cancer is no longer the dreaded 'C' word! Now, people know that it is beatable with the right enthusiasm. On top of it, celebrities like Sonali Bendre, Tahira Kashyap, and Manisha Koirala, among others, gave courage to others with their life stories and how they defeated cancer. In fact, these celebrities even flaunted their baldness and proved it to be normal as it is the start of a new cancer-free life. Now, we stumbled upon a another fighter, who danced throughout her chemotherapy.
Cancer is not just the end of the world, and Shikha Singh, who is a choreographer, proved it with her might. When people think that it will stop the from pursuing their dream, she kept following it. Shikha revealed that she is an avid dancer, but cancer and the treatment would make it difficult to follow her passion. However, she defeated the cancer with her dance.
She was featured on Human Beings of Lucknow's Instagram page, wherein it was revealed that she hails from Prayagraj. She revealed that when she was diagnosed with cancer, her first thought was that she wouldn't be able to dance, but she stood strong and danced through her chemotherapies.
In the clip, the gorgeous woman was dressed up in a beautiful lehenga and flaunted her baldness. She looked no less than a diva, with her divine energy radiating through her every dance move. Talking to the Instagram page, Shikha said:
"I was stuck in life and asked for a breakthrough. And life gave me cancer. My first thought , 'How would I dance now?' But then I told myself, 'The dance is bigger than cancer.' So, I danced through chemotherapy. My feet may be weak, but my spirit is strong. Cancer may have shaken my body, but it cannot silence my soul. I will keep dancing, with every nerve and fiber of my being, because life is precious, and every moment is a gift."
As soon as the post went viral, netizens flooded the comments section. Fellow cancer survivor, Hina Khan wrote, " Blessings and love Keep going, more power to you." Riddhima Kapoor also penned, "May god bless this beautiful woman, praying for her." Another netizen commented, "You are inspiration to all !! Keep your spirit high always …"
