The legendary actor, Chiranjeevi Konidela, is married to Surekha Konidala, and they're parents of four children, Sreeja Konidela, Ram Charan, and Sushmita Konidela. While Ram Charan leads a happy married life with his wife, Upasana Kamineni, Sushmita is married to L.V. Vishnu Prasad. Chiranjeevi Konidela's daughter, Sreeja, was born on November 9, 1998, in Chennai, and she is currently assisting her father in the movie business. Despite being the daughter of one of India's biggest movie stars, Sreeja prefers to live a quiet life far from the reach of the media spotlight. However, she has been in the news headlines time and again due to so many ups and downs in her personal life. For the uninitiated, Ram Charan's sister, Sreeja, got married two times in her life but is currently living alone with her two kids, Nivrati and Navishka.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, Chiranjeevi's daughter, Sreeja Konidela, was just 19 when she decided to marry her 22-year-old boyfriend, Sirish Bharadwaj. Sreeja's family was against her decision, but she was so much in love with Sirish that she went against her own family. The couple got married in 2007 at an Arya Samaj temple in Hyderabad. Soon after their wedding, Sreeja spoke to the media and clearly stated that she had a 'threat' from her family. Not only this, she also added that she is seeking protection from her own family.

The entire matter was in public, and Sreeja's father, Chiranjeevi Konidela, also lodged a kidnapping complaint against his son-in-law, Sirish Bharadwaj. While Chiranjeevi claimed that his girl was a minor and Sirish had manipulated her, Sreeja sought police protection from her father. The couple went viral nationwide and was lauded by a large section of society for marrying each other by going against their families.

In 2008, Sirish and Sreeja welcomed a baby girl, Nivrithi, and only her mother, Surekha and brother, Ram Charan, went to the hospital to see her. Soon, things calmed down, and Sirish and Sreeja lived peacefully with their daughter. However, in 2011, Sreeja shocked everyone by filing a police complaint against Sirish in which she accused him of dowry harassment. In 2014, the couple got divorced, and Sreeja reconciled with her family. In the following years, Sirish joined politics, married again and passed away in June 2024.

After parting ways with Sirish Bharadwaj, Sreeja Konidela got married to Kalyaan Dhev on March 28, 2016, who is her childhood friend. For the uninitiated, Kalyaan Dhev is a popular actor who has predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. In the following years, Sreeja and Kalyaan welcomed a daughter, and they chose the name 'Navishka' for her. Unfortunately, their separation rumours started making their way into media corridors in 2022 after she removed her husband's surname from her name on her social media handles.

On June 20, 2023, Kalyaan Dhev confirmed his separation from Sreeja after he revealed that he only spends four hours a week with his daughter. Neither Kalyaan nor Sreeja have talked about their separation in public. Most of the fans are rooting for the couple's reconciliation; it will be interesting to see whether they opt for it or take things downhill to divorce proceedings.
