Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver, Rashee Rice is facing some serious allegations after his ex-girlfriend, Dacoda Nichole, posted a long note alleging that the sports star has been abusing her. It was on the evening of January 7, 2026 (ET) that Dacoda took to her social media and shared a series of pictures and penned a long note accusing Rashee of domestic abuse. Ever since then, the post has been widely shared online, with KC Chiefs fans stunned by the revelation.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, Rashee Rice has found himself in an extremely serious situation after his former girlfriend accused him of domestic violence. According to reports, Dacoda Nichole has alleged that the NFL star has been hitting her for several years, as she shared in an Instagram post on January 7, 2026 (ET). She uploaded a series of photos that showed her physical injuries and the damage done to her house, including broken cabinets and a hole in the wall.

Along with the pictures, Dacoda Nichole shared a long note alleging a long-running pattern of physical and emotional abuse, intimidation, and controlling behaviour that she says continued even after their relationship ended. Dacoda shared that she was tired of being quiet and alleged that Rashee Rice had been abusing her for nearly 8 years. She added that they broke up a couple of months ago. However, her life has been hell ever since. The note read:

"I'm so tired of keeping quiet. I'm so tired of protecting his image. I've been through too much in a span of 8 years, and I've had ENOUGH! I've dealt with abuse for years, and this man and I decided to break up a couple of months ago, and since then, it's been nothing but hell. He's very controlling. There have been times he's come to my new home, broken my door."

Dacoda Nichole claims Rashee Rice hit her when she was pregnant

However, that was not all. Dacoda Nichole recounted some unsettling incidents, claiming that Rashee Rice had hit her while she was pregnant. She also alleged that the NFL player locked her outside at night after being caught cheating. She revealed that over the years, he has damaged her clothes and other personal belongings. She was quoted as saying:

"There have been times when he would put his hands on me while I was pregnant, and even had the audacity to lock me outside all night in ten-degree weather because he got caught cheating. He's cut up all my shoes and clothes, leaving me with nothing because he's gotten caught up. And there are multiple instances of cheating, but besides that, I'm just tired of him not doing right by my boys. It's not fair that he doesn't call them. He would rather be laid up with h*es."

Dacoda Nichole further claimed that Rashee Rice had left her and her boys in Kansas, and she had to beg the NFL player for money so she could go back to her home in Texas. She revealed that there is an agreement in place given everything that has happened between them, but Rashee still won't honour it. She also alleged that Rashee was not who he seemed to be and stated:

"He's now trying to remove my kids and me from our home for no apparent reason. I've known this man for YEARS. He tries to put on this persona like he's Dad of the Year. He does the bare minimum, and I have to beg for that. I've protected his image too long, and I'm done doing that. It's time to protect my peace, protect my children and stand up for myself."

Rashee Rice is yet to respond to the allegations

While the allegations have gone viral, Rashee Rice has not yet addressed the accusations made by his ex-girlfriend. Additionally, there is no confirmation on whether Docoda Nichole has filed a complaint against Rashee. The Kansas City Chiefs organisation and the NFL have also not issued statements regarding the situation.

Hours after the post made headlines, the Kansas City Chiefs, the NFL team, shared a statement responding to questions about their knowledge of the allegations. They shared that the club was 'aware' of the allegations made by Dacoda Nichole. However, they had "no further comment at this time."
