Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, the show featuring the famous personalities settling down in a village and adjusting to a new life, has finally come to an end. For the uninitiated, the grand finale of the show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, hosted by Rannvijay Singha, took place on October 4, 2025. It was the famous TV actress, Anita Hassanandani, who lifted the trophy and emerged as the winner of the show. Anita talked about her feelings after winning the show. However, not everyone seemed pleased about her victory. Yes, you guessed it right. We are talking about Anjuum Faakih, Anita’s fellow contestant on the show.
Recently, Anjuum Faakih sat for an interview with Zoom and shared her thoughts on Anita Hassanandani winning the show, Chhoriyan Chali Gaon. Expressing her feelings, Anjuum said that she is neither jealous nor competitive. She later mentioned that Anita is very different from her. She added that Anita is very competitive and very focused on winning. Anjuum also called the Naagin actress a deserving candidate to win the show. In her words:
"I am not jealous. I am not at all competitive. I won't chase to win. Anita bilkul alag hain, like she says she gives 500 per cent. Vo har pariksha mein competitive rahi, unko bas jeetna hai. That competitive nature... she deserves to be a winner."
In the same interview, Anjuum opened up about her equation with her co-contestants on the show, Chhoriyan Chali Gaon. Specially mentioning Rameet Sandhu, Krishna Shroff, Erika Packard and sister duo, Surabhi and Samriddhi, Anjuum shared that she is very close to them. She expressed that she adores Anita Hassanandani. She later mentioned Uorfi Javed’s sister, Dolly Javed, with whom she had fights and called her cute. She was quoted as saying:
"Everyone is a great acquaintance to me. I am very close to Rameet, Krishna, Erika, and Surabhi-Samriddhi. I adore Anita Hassanandani. I had fights with Dolly Javed, but she is very cute. Sometimes, I think, why did we fight so much? She is younger than my younger sister, Anam. Everyone is special."
After lifting the trophy and emerging as the winner, Anita shared that joining Chhoriyan Chali Gaon was a huge challenge for her, as it took her out of her comfort zone. Anita mentioned that she joined the show with one goal that is to make her family proud. It was her husband, Rohit Reddy, and their son, Aaravv, who became her biggest motivation throughout the journey.
Anita also discussed the challenging moments when she missed home or felt tired, but persevered by thinking of her family. Holding the trophy, Anita said the win didn’t belong to her alone, and was her family’s victory too. She was quoted as saying:
