Embracing motherhood is one of the most beautiful phases of a woman's life. The experience of giving birth to a NEW YOU and your little replica is something magical created by the Almighty. But giving birth to a little life is not an easy sail for all the expecting mothers. All the preggers have their own share of hurdles during the course of the birthing process. And S.I.T co-founder, Chhavi Mittal too had her tough times in her second pregnancy journey. But one thing is for sure that she has been very experessive all throughtout the journey. For the uninitiated ones, Chhavi Mittal is married to Mohit Hussein. The happily married couple is parents to lovely kids, Areeza Hussein and Arham Hussein. Chhavi and Mohit welcomed the little baby boy recently on May 13, 2019. All her pregnancy journey, Chhavi shared her experience on social media and now, after giving birth to Arham, she is sharing her birth story on her official Instagram handle. Chhavi has already shared chapter one, two and three. Now, Chhavi took to her Instagram profile to share the fourth chapter of her birthing experience.
Chhavi penned, "CHAPTER 4: THE STAGE WAS SET I remember having a conversation with Mohit in the loo. He said “Baby I’m not comfortable with the way they are rushing you. You are already 8 cm dilated and have gone through the whole labour. Why now?” I told him, “I don’t know what to do baby, just that we should trust the doctor”. After all, what else could I do besides putting all my trust in her. With a heavy heart, I proceeded to the wheelchair. But I didn’t know that the worst was yet to come! Outside the OT, suddenly I was told that Mohit cannot accompany me to the OT." (Also Read: Unseen Picture Of Radhika Merchant Twinning In Pink With A Friend At A Party Gives Friendship Goals)
Her post could further be read as, "I can’t even begin to tell you how scared I was when I heard that. I tried to reason with my doctor that it was the first point mentioned in my birth-plan. She started yelling again for some reason. I remember wondering what that reason was. But frankly I didn’t want to know. I just wanted Mohit to hold my hand. I was going in for surgery, and was being asked to go without the man who accompanies me to office, to cafes, for shopping, to schools, to events, you name it. How could I go into surgery without him? He’s my support system. He’s my everything. We had prepared for this day for months together. He’s my protector. And here I was, surrounded by people who all felt alien and insensitive."
She further wrote, "I could barely breathe through my surges, and my own doctor was yelling at me “Chhavi now it’s all medicalised, this is protocol. I will not allow Mohit in my OT”. I looked at her and with tears in my eyes and pain in my voice. I told her, “doctor why are you doing this to me?” She turned her eyes away. I told her if Mohit did not accompany me, I will walk out right now. The paediatrician whispered into her ear, “let him come, he just wants to hold her hand”. And my doctor took her phone and yelled again, “I can’t allow this.. I’ll have to speak to the authorities” and she exited. Later I came to know that all my friends who had delivered at this hospital were accompanied by their husbands for C-sections. They were even offered choice of music in the OT. But now, I had to fight. And I fought with every ounce of energy in my body... TO BE CONTINUED...#chhavimittalbirthstory #chhavimittal #operatingroom." Speaking about her pregnancy, Chhavi had once shared with The Times of India, “One can never be too prepared. No two pregnancies and babies are the same. During my first pregnancy, I had the liberty to quit my show and rest it out. However, this time around, I already have too much on my plate — my elder daughter and business. So, I haven’t got the time to sit back and enjoy this phase."
Sharing her birthing experience in one of her Instagram posts, Chhavi had once written on social media, "I get an insane amount of messages where pregnant women use the word "scared" to express their feelings about the birthing process. May I please say that the only thing you can do as a pregnant mother is to spread positivity. Everything else, nature does. So why not replace this negative word with, joy, pleasure, looking forward, happiness, and being strong and ready? An extremely effective technique in handling reservations and fear is affirmations. I'm sharing a link to download affirmations (in the stories) that you can listen to every day, multiple times if you wish to... And I'm sure it'll go a long way in having a more positive, fearless bent of mind." (Don't Miss: Kajol And Daughter, Nysa Devgan Get Papped At The Airport, Fans Suspect The Actress Is Pregnant)
Further, requesting all moms-to-be to respect and embrace the natural process of giving birth to a baby, her post could further be read as, "And please remember.. birthing a baby is something that is the most natural thing for a woman's body. Respect your body for that, love your body for that, and be kind to your body by not conditioning your mind with these preconceived notions about pain and discomfort during birthing. It is not true. Your birthing experience will only be as calm as your mind. So take things in your control like I have, like millions of women across the globe have, like the woman working in the fields has, like your mother and granny and their mother and granny did. You are a woman. You have the power. Just take back the control of your mind. All the best ladies! #affirmations PC: @sachin113photographer #positivity."
On November 21, 2018, Chhavi had announced her pregnancy news with all her Insta fam. Sharing the below picture, she had worded her post as, “Women and fitness are badass. Pregnant women and fitness is f**kin badass! I'm really happy and proud to announce that I'm gonna be a second-time mommy soon! Surprisingly every single person who knows I'm pregnant has told me "oh you can eat all you like now!" But they couldn't be more wrong. It is not only imperative but also my duty towards the life inside me to take care of my health and fitness every bit more than I usually do. I like to say, "I don't EAT for two, I have to be HEALTHY for two!" (Also Check: Ishaan Khatter Thinks 'Bhabhi' Mira Kapoor Is Just A Year Older To Him And Yet She Is A Perfect Mom)
