Rajani Jain, famously known as Chatori Rajani, has been going through the biggest loss of her life. Her 16-year-old son, Taran Jain, was coming back from tuition when he lost his life in a road accident. However, the family didn't have any more details about their son's death. Recently, Rajani shared a video of her son's last farewell party. Still, netizens found it a bit too much and passed harsh comments, without understanding that people have different defence mechanisms to bid goodbyes to their loved ones.
Losing a loved one is never easy, and people try to find peace in their own way. Some totally deny the pain, while others keep holding onto the memories. However, Rajani Jain, a follower of Jainism, wants to send her late son, Taran, into the light. Her only motive is to stay happy for the sake of her child, who is on the other side of the veil. She hosted a grand farewell party, which was attended by her followers, her son's classmates and teachers.
On March 17, 2025, Rajani took to her social media handle and shared glimpses of her speech during the farewell of her late son, Taran. The social media influencer shared her emotions with a shayari on how it was raining at the time of his birth, and Delhi had a earthquake on the day of his demise. She said:
"Badal garje or barse jab use yaha lana tha, dharti bhi us din kaanpi thi jab usko sath le jana tha. I am sure most of them must be thinking it is a huge loss and they are here celebrating throwing some farewell party for him. But hum wohi kar rahe hai jo humare bache ko bahut pusund tha. Dost, music, flowers or sab log khush ho. Taran bahut different tha vo sabke sath rehta tha. He loved to love and spread smiles."
Further in her speech, Rajani sang a song and urged his friends not to cry as he is all alone on the other side, and their pain would stop him. She was quoted as saying:
"Meri patang ho befikar, udd rahi hai, dorr koi keeche nahi, dune de meri ma. Samjhe udne dena hai ro kar use pakdna nahi hai. Please bilkul bhi koi na roye kyunki usko bilkul bhi nahi pusund tha ki koi roye. Jab ap rote ho ya mai ro rahi hoon, ap mujhe bol rahe ho aunty ro mat, mai apko bol rahi hoon ro mat, par vo waha akela khada hai or use koi nahi bol sakega bacha ro mat. Vo ek gaya hai mera bacha par mujhe itne sare bache de kar gaya hai jo mera hath pakad kar baithe hai."
As soon as the video was shared, netizens expressed their point of views. While some applauded for Rajani's strength and power, others wasn't able to digest her this form of farewell. One user wrote, "Kaise etni himmat lai Aap." Another one commented, "Kaise ye sab stage pr bolna organise krna aap kr sakte ho...yhan to mere papa gye 3-4 months tk to tv nhi dekha kuch acha nhi lgta tha unke bina aur inka to bacha gya h kaise stage pr speech kr pa rhi hai,"
