Charu Asopa's Fans Lash On Rajeev Sen As She Sells Clothes Online, 'How Can A Father Not Take...'

Charu Asopa's eyes would light up whenever she got a new acting project. For over a decade, she has made a huge name in the television industry, and even after marrying Rajeev Sen, Charu continued working. However, the higher living expenses in Mumbai forced Charu to move back to her hometown and start a business from scratch. Now, her fans rushed to her support and slammed her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen.

After Charu Asopa confirmed that she had moved back to her hometown, Bikaner, Rajeev Sen, in a media interaction, questioned her statement about financial constraints. He also highlighted the fact that Charu paid for her family's cruise trip. On the other hand, Charu shared a photo with Ziana from their train journey and captioned it as:

"New chapter of life begins."

Within seconds netizens rushed to her support. Some hailed Charu's courage to restart her life in her hometown, others lauded her decision to spend more time with her daughter, Ziana. One user wrote, "Bus himmat nahi haarni he dekhna phir se sab itna accha hoga jitna aapne Socha bhi nahi hoga Ameen lots of love. Har manzil pe khuda aapko kamyabi de." Another commented, "So proud of u...at least you are not those who ask for huge alimony...you are working and growing ur daughter alone... a woman should learn from u...remember any job which earns honest money is divine."

Some lashed out at Rajeev for not caring for their daughter, Ziana. One user wrote, "How can a father not take any responsibility for their kid?!!! Shame on him!!" Another netizen commented, "Shame on Rajeev Sen." Another one penned, "Rajeev cares only about Starbucks coffee and how great he is. When he hasn't achieved anything in life. Arrogance without talent."

Rajeev Sen slammed Charu Asopa's financial constraint statement

Recently, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Rajeev was questioned about his wife finding it hard to find good projects and earning money to maintain a living in Mumbai. Rajeev claimed Charu recently went on a cruise trip and paid for her brother and sister-in-law's tickets. He questioned:

"She could afford a cruise trip with her brother and his wife—which is pretty expensive—and she paid for everyone’s ticket. Where does this financial struggle come into play?"

Rajeev further highlighted that Charu is planning to buy a home in Bikaner, which takes a lot of money, plus she is going regular shopping, which a person dealing with financial constraints won't be able to manage. He said:

"She’s looking to buy a house in Bikaner—or maybe already has—which takes serious money. Even with a loan, buying property isn’t cheap. Plus, if she’s managing cruises and her regular shopping—as seen in her daily vlogs—it clearly shows she’s not struggling financially. Anyone truly under financial stress wouldn’t even dream of buying property."

For the unversed, Charu Asopa left acting and moved back to her hometown, Bikaner. She has started her own business, Charu's Closet, selling clothes and skincare.
