Charu Asopa Holds 'Griha Pravesh Puja' At New Home In Bikaner, Ziana Enters With Kumkum-laden Feet

Charu Asopa is a prominent TV actress known for her role in shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Balveer, Mere Angne Mein, Akbar Ka Bal Birbal and more. She broke the headlines in the last few days after one of her videos surfaced online, where she was seen selling suits and sarees. Later, the actress admitted that she had shifted her base from Mumbai to her hometown in Bikaner with her daughter, Ziana which was followed by criticism from her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen. But, despite the challenges, Charu has fulfilled her goal of buying her home and recently shared the inside glimpses from her housewarming ceremony.

Charu Asopa has been sharing new updates about her move to Bikaner from Mumbai. From buying her new home to shopping for its furniture, she shared every significant moment of her new life with her fans. Amid this, Charu recently shared a new video on her Instagram handle from her griha pravesh puja at her newly bought home in Bikaner, Rajasthan. In the video, Charu was seen holding her little one and made Ziana take the first steps with her kumkum laden feet in their new home. Sharing the video, she penned:

"Nanhe Kadmo Ke Saath Griha Pravesh."

On the other hand, Charu held the auspicious kalash on her head and followed her daughter. The mother-daughter duo followed the rituals described by the pandit and fans were delighted to see the new achievement of the actress. On the occasion, Charu looked gorgeous in a beige-hued traditional suit with a long red dupatta and golden embroidery. She tied her hair in an updo and kept her makeup minimal. On the other hand, her daughter, Ziana wore a dark-blue coloured sleeveless suit with dhoti-style bottom.

Charu Asopa purchased her house through a bank loan

When Charu Asopa initially shared videos of selling clothes and mentioned that she planned on buying a home in Bikaner, her ex-husband, Rajeev, and some critics called her out. They questioned about how she could buy a new home, if she had faced a financial crunch. Later, in a vlog, Charu explained that she had bought her new home through a bank loan, and the amount of EMI was the same as the rent she paid in Mumbai. She said:

"The EMI is almost what I was paying as rent in Mumbai. But the rent increases every year, whereas the EMI remains constant. That's the benefit."

When Charu Asopa opened up about her decision to sell clothes online and shift to Bikaner 

When Charu Asopa's video of selling suits and sarees went viral, she sat down for an interview with the Hindustan Times. During the conversation, she shared that she had left Mumbai to live with her parents and she made the decision because she needed at least Rs. 1 to 1.5 lakhs every month to pay for her rent and other expenses in Mumbai. Moroever, she couldn't go to regular shoots, leaving her daughter under the care of a nanny, which made her take the big call. She said:

"Living in Mumbai is not easy; it costs money. For me, the monthly living cost came up to Rs. 1 lakh -1.5 lakh, including the rent and everything, which was not easy. Furthermore, I would rather not leave Ziana alone with a nanny when I am shooting in Naigaon (Mumbai). It used to get extremely difficult. Moving back home and starting my own thing was completely planned; it wasn't a rushed decision."
