Chandrika Dixit rose to fame with her fighting spirit by selling vada pavs on the streets of Delhi, and her social media presence became a turning point in her career. Shortly after, she was roped in to be a part Bigg Boss OTT 3, which gave her a different dimension of fame. While she gained popularity during her journey in the show, be it through her arguments or taking a stand for others, nonetheless, audiences felt that Chandrika didn’t have a topic of her own to fight for. After her eviction in the third week, the businesswoman addressed the issue.
In a recent conversation with The Free Press Journal, Chandrika Dixit addressed people’s view of her not having a topic of her own to fight for inside the BB OTT 3 house. The diva was seen raising her voice and taking a stand for many issues pertaining to others in the house, but she never talked or erupted a fight for a cause related to her. Sharing her views towards the same, Chandrika said:

“Main Mahakaal ki bhakt hoon and I cannot stand injustice, does not matter if it is happening with me or with someone else. Chandrika will speak for herself and for others as well. If someone points out at my family, my business or my son, then I do not stay mum. But Chandrika also takes a stand for others.”

Moving forth in the interview, Chandrika was asked about her recent remark of feeling regret post apologising to Vishal Pandey. The former contestant was asked that if she didn’t knew about the particular video that firmed her decision on the same while inside the show, then why she continued to pull on the topic inside BB OTT 3 house. Explaining her stance, Chandrika shared:
“I had seen Vishal as my 'devar,' and when I learnt of this incident, I was very hurt. I asked him how could he do whatever he did. I thought any girl could safely converse with him. So there I was hurt and hence did whatever he did. But when his parents cried on the Weekend Ka Vaar, I realised that I do not have the entire picture and I do not know what the truth is. However, unfortunately, after coming outside the show, my opinion about him in the show was reinstated.”
In another earlier conversation with The Indian Express, Chandrika Dixit spilled beans if she would return to her earlier business of selling vada pavs on the streets, now that her stint inside the reality show came to an end. She revealed that while BB OTT 3 gave her fame, it was her business which gave her identity and now she wishes to progress in her vada pav business.

In the same interaction, Chandrika Dixit credited the popular reality show for helping her get rid of that controversial image she created on social media. The ‘Vada Pav Girl’ expressed that with her participation in the show, people began to see her real personality over everything else. In her words:
“My image changed, people had seen one side of me and assumed I only fight. But nobody saw the reasons why I fought; no one noticed, how loving and caring I was. Poulomi told me that the world should see the person that I am. Sai Ketan Rao and Ranvir Shorey’s opinions about me changed, so I am already a winner. I never pretended to be a different person on the show.”
