'Celebrity Masterchef': Ranveer Brar, Farah Khan Refuse To Eat Contestant's Dish, Says 'Bimar Ho...'

Ranveer Brar is a world-renowned celebrity chef who has impressed his fans with not just his cooking skills but his acting skills in the films, Buckingham Murders and Modern Love Mumbai. Farah Khan, on the other hand, is a film director, writer, film producer, and choreographer who showed us her cooking knowledge through her YouTube vlogs. While the two came together to judge the star-studded season of Celebrity Masterchef, the judges had a Ranveer aapne bataya nahi moment but, like always, Ranveer ne bataya tha.

Celebrity Masterchef has been winning the audience's hearts. The show tests the cooking skills of some of the most popular personas, which are judged by Farah Khan, Vikas Khanna, and Ranveer Brar. On February 1, 2025, the makers of the show shared a promo video from the show on SoniLiv's official Instagram handle, and it showed the judges schooling the contestant, Usha Nadkarni, for her dish. The video showed Usha presenting her dish in front of the judges.

When Farah asked the veteran actress what she had prepared, she revealed that she had made fried chicken for the judges. However, as Farah and Ranveer begin to cut into the dish, they refuse to take a bite. The Marathi actress looked confused and asked them about it, to which Ranveer was heard responding that the dish was raw and that if they tried it, they would fall sick. He stated:

"Pura kachha hain, hum khayenge toh bimar ho jayenge."

Farah Khan bashes Usha Nadkarni for not paying attention

Usha Nadkarni was taken aback by the judges' revelation about her dish. The actress was then seen defending herself and revealed that she had checked whether the chicken was cooked or not by poking it with a knife. To which Farah told her, "Jab Chefs aate hain, tab sunne ka unka." Usha further tried to defend her case and was heard saying, "Mujhe bolna chahiye tha na." However, the filmmaker further retorted that the actress doesn't pay attention at times. Farah was quoted saying:

"Aap sunte nahi ho kabhi kabhi."

Celebrity Masterchef premiered on January 27, 2025. The judges panel for this year included Ranveer Brar, Farah Khan, and Vikas Khanna. While the show marks the return of Ranveer and Vikas, who are seasoned judges on Masterchef, the season also welcomes Farah Khan as she makes her debut in the culinary competition space. As for the contestants, the show features an exciting lineup, which includes Tejasswi Prakash, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Nikki Tamboli, Abhijeet Sawant, Rajiv Adatia, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh, Chandan Prabhakar, and Gaurav Khanna.
