Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are making their and everyone’s #EverydayPhenomenal, ever since the two had come out in open about their relationship. After various rounds of speculations regarding their wedding, Sonam and Anand had taken the saat pheras on May 8, 2018, making their relationship perfect by respecting each other’s profession, supporting and empowering each other.
Just like her wedding rumours, Sonam is often speculated to be pregnant, however, none of those reports has come true. During an interview with FirstPost just 2 months after her wedding, Sonam had talked at length about having kids. She had said:
"Anand and I had a very long conversation you know, and we obviously want to have kids eventually, and he had this one friend who had a very long name, his mother’s name, father’s name, blah blah blah. I said, see anyways it’s a patriarchal concept, I have my father’s last name, I don’t have my mother’s name, and I want to be part of your family as well, and he wanted to be a part of mine.”
Sonam had further talked about the name of kids and had said that though her name has become a long one and so has Anand’s, she thinks that it is an amazing thing. She had said:
"Now Sonam Kapoor Ahuja becomes very long, but in our passports, I’ll be Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and he will be Anand Sonam Ahuja. Which I think is amazing. Because I wanted to have the same name as my child and I wanted my child to have my name as well. For now, this was the best compromise we could come with, Anna, where our child has both our names which has nothing to do with my father, but I still have my father’s name because I love him and my progressive thoughts come from him, but I also wanted my husband’s name and he wanted my name."

She had further talked about motherhood and how she feels it has nothing to do with age. She had said:
“Motherhood has nothing to do with age. This is a predicament most working women face today since they are getting married in their 30s. Many of my friends have told me that it’s fulfilling to wake up in the morning and look at your baby, clean him/her up--but it’s all so consuming. This would leave you with little energy for anything else. I don’t know how I’ll deal with that.”

But Chay (Naga Chaitanya) seems to be certain that it will happen on the assigned date! But we have definitely fixed the timeline as to when we want to have a baby."
Samantha had also talked about how she plans to give her child the most of the time after embracing motherhood. She had said:
"When I have a child, that child is going to be my universe. I had the greatest respect for working mothers. My childhood was not very rosy. For all adults, who haven't had a very rosy childhood, the first thing they will tell you is that they want to give their child everything that they did not have. That's something that has stuck with me. So I think the first few years after I have a child, I would not be anywhere. That child will be everything for me."
