After keeping quiet for several days over the speculation, scrutiny and debate about her relationship with NFL star, Stefon Diggs, the rapper has finally decided to face the chatter head-on. Cardi B, who welcomed a baby boy with Stefon Diggs in November 2025, pointed out how several have been 'too mean' to her by criticising her relationships and choices. But she has at last made it clear that she is not here to take it all.
Cardi B slams criticism around her relationship with Stefon Diggs
Cardi B recently took to her X handle to address the repeated public scrutiny of her relationship over the past few days. She asked the fans to calm down and, before bluntly clarifying that she can not change anything that happened in the past. The rapper mentioned how she already has a baby with Stefon Diggs and there is no hiding away from it now. In her words:
"Y'all need to calm down… are y'all OK? I can't change s–t. I can't go back in time. I already had a baby. Y'all want me to put my baby back in my p—y?"
Furthermore, the 33-year-old emphasised that instead of criticism, she needs support at the moment, as she has a major year ahead of her in 2026. Additionally, Cardi B discussed how she is preparing for her tour, scheduled for the early months of 2026, and is already feeling "stressed out" about it. Sharing how she needs wishes for health, money and prosperity, the rapper said:
"I need my support system, my fans, to love me… Don't drag me. That's enough! I need health, money, prosperity [and] happiness."

Cardi B's comments follow the increasing criticism of her relationship with Stefon Diggs that has taken over the internet. The criticism intensified when Stefon and Cardi B celebrated Christmas separately with their respective kids. Furthermore, Stefon shared pictures celebrating the festival with his three children from previous relationships, which sparked breakup rumors and drew harsh comments from netizens.
However, Stefon Diggs did reshare Cardi B's Christmas Day post where she was seen holding their newly born baby. Meanwhile, Cardi B's best friend, Ken Davis, revealed that the couple are 'still solid' together. The rapper's request to fans suggested that she is facing the pressure of dealing with criticism, motherhood and fame all at once.

Why did Cardi B and Stefon Diggs not spend their Christmas together?
Apart from Cardi B, her longtime friend and Blogger, Ken Barbie, shared some posts on X clarifying the situation behind the scenes. He explained that the couple did not spend Christmas together because they both have children from their previous relationships and had to prioritise co-parenting over their bond. He pointed out that situation can become complex when "baby moms' insist on being present during the festival. Ken mentioned, "If baby moms are on some 'my kids can't come unless I'm there,' then that's just what it is." Ken added that it would have been weird if Stefon did not spend the holidays with his kids. Consequently, there are no issues between Stefon and Cardi B as they continue to figure out their situation and strengthen their bond.
