Bryan Johnson an American entrepreneur, venture capitalist, writer and author, recently made it to the headlines after walking out of Zerodha founder, Nikhil Kamath's podcast. Known for his anti-ageing initiative, Blueprint, Bryan recently left recording the podcast midway. He later cited air pollution as a reason for the same, which would have its impact on health, and especially on skin and cellular ageing. Bryan Johnson's early life and education

Bryan Johnson was born back in 1977, and he grew up with three siblings. Well, his parents, Richard Johnson and Ellen Huff were divorced at an early age. In the recent Netflix documentary on Bryan, his mom shared that from an early age, he was the 'problem solver' of his family and would even starve to save up money. When Bryan was 22 years old, his father, Richard was reportedly arrested due to involvement with drugs. He served a Mormon mission in Ecuador, and after that, he studied at Brigham Young University and the University of Chicago.

Bryan Johnson's professional life

Talking about Bryan Johnson's career, back in 2007, he started Braintree, a payment company. Braintree soon gained attention in the fintech industry for the way it made online transactions pretty smooth. In 2013, Bryan sold his company to PayPal in exchange for 800 million dollars. Although he was a multi-millionaire back then, he didn't stop right there and continued to do wonders. In 2016, Bryan launched Kernel, a company, whose aim was to develop technologies to repair and enhance the human brain. Apart from that, Bryan remains indulged with several innovations, and reportedly he has a net worth of 400 million dollars.

One of Bryan Johnson's most-talked-about projects was Blueprint, which is an anti-ageing initiative. One thing that would make you shock is that reportedly, Bryan spends 2 million dollars annually to live longer. This amount includes his diet, which also comes along with a total of 54 pills a day for the entrepreneur, and a special schedule throughout the day, including dinner at 11 a.m. Apart from that, he also follows a gym routine, special skin and hair treatments, and more. Bryan also even did a plasma exchange with his son and father, which they believed would help reduce age-related brain decline.

Talking about his personal life, Bryan was earlier married to a girl (name not disclosed). The couple reportedly has three kids. Bryan shares a special bond with his younger son, who even is assoissated with Blueprint's diet and lifestyle. Back in 2023, reports were rife that Bryan's ex-fiance, Taryn Southern, sued him for his abusive behaviour and throwing her out of his house during her cancer battle.

Bryan Johnson walked out of Nikhil Kamath's podcast recently. Reports claimed that Bryan visited India recently to record the podcast with Nikhil, which took place in a 5-star hotel. While there was an air purifier, Bryan was wearing an N95 mask, but still, he was unable to endure the room's AQI, around 120. Replying to the same on X (Twitter), Bryan said that Nikhil was a gracious host, but he had to leave the show because of air not being pure.
