Bridgerton is returning soon with its fourth season. Netflix has officially confirmed the date of the regency drama. Following the massive success of Season 3, which centred around Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington’s love story, the spotlight now shifts to another Bridgerton sibling, 'Benedict.' After a long wait, Bridgerton is all set to come up on Netflix has also confirmed a few new names that are joining the cast. Season 4 is introducing several new characters, one of whom is Katie Leung, who joins the cast as 'Lady Araminta Gun.' Her character plays a fabulous and sharp-witted mother who has her own social responsibility and wants to get one of her daughters married. 'Rosamund Li' (played by Michelle Mao) and 'Posy Li' (played by Isabella Wei) plying her daugters are expected to stir new drama within London’s high society. 'Emma Naomi' (Alice Mondrich) and 'Hugh Sachs' (Brimsley) will both be part of Season 4’s main cast.
Several familiar faces are set to return, ensuring the world of Bridgerton remains interconnected to the fans. Nicola Coughlan returns as 'Penelope Bridgerton,' Luke Newton will reprise his role as 'Colin Bridgerton,' while Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley will return as 'Viscount' and 'Viscountess Bridgerton.' Adjoa Andoh returns as 'Lady Danbury,' Golda Rosheuvel as 'Queen Charlotte,' and Ruth Gemmell as 'Violet Bridgerton.' Claudia Jessie, Hannah Dodd, and Masali Baduza will also appear as 'Eloise,' 'Francesca,' and 'Michaela,' respectively.
While Benedict knows his love interest as only the Lady in Silver, she’s actually Sophie, a resourceful maid with her own secrets and dreams. Enter Sophie Beckett, portrayed by Yerin Ha, a talented newcomer to the series. Sophie is a maid in a noble household who has her own secrets.
The upcoming season of Bridgerton, season 4, will consist of eight episodes. Season 4 of Bridgerton will premiere in two parts, continuing Netflix’s recent split-season trend. Part 1 will debut on January 29, 2026, followed by Part 2 on February 26, 2026.
In the previous seasons of Bridgerton, each chapter of the story focused on a different Bridgerton sibling’s journey to love. In the first season, Daphne Bridgerton and the Duke of Hastings, Simon’s passionate love story stole the show. The story started when the eldest Bridgerton daughter was presented in society. To avoid suitors, Daphne and Simon started their fake romance, which later turned into reality. However, Simon’s troubled past and vow never to marry or have children create tension between them. By the season’s end, they marry and welcome a baby.
Season 2 shifted the focus to Anthony Bridgerton, who is the eldest brother and is determined to marry out of duty rather than love. He met Edwina Sharma, newly arrived from India. However, his plans changed when he crossed paths with Kate, Edwina’s older sister. Started as a rivalry later turned into intense love. Ultimately, Anthony chooses love over duty and marries Kate.
