Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1, starring Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha in the lead has finally arrived on Netflix and fans already can't stop talking about it. For the unversed, the first four episodes of the show dropped on January 29, 2026. Part 1 focuses on 'Benedict Bridgerton's' love story with 'Sophie'. However, the end of the show is making a lot of noise on social media. Amid that, read on to understand the end of the Bridgerton season 4.

Plotline of Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1

Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1 focuses on the intense and Cinderella-like love story of 'Benedict Bridgerton' (played by Luke Thompson). The season opens in a grand masquerade ball, where 'Benedict' meets a mysterious and masked woman dressed in silver. The two instantly feel a connection and 'Benedict' falls in love with her. However, before 'Benedict' could know her identity, she disappeared.

Later, viewers get to know that the mysterious woman is 'Sophie Baek', a young woman living a difficult life as a maid. 'Sophie' is a kind and intelligent person, but her low social status forces her to hide her real self. After the ball ended, 'Sophie' soon realised that even though she felt a connection with 'Benedict', there was no future because of the difference in social status. On the other hand, 'Benedict' continues searching for his 'Lady in Silver'.

As soon as the show, Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1 reaches Episode 4, both tensions and emotions are very high. 'Benedict' and 'Sophie' are having a heated argument and eventually the two confess their feelings and share a passionate kiss. This makes it clear that they love each other.

However, the romantic moment soon turns painful as 'Benedict', who is restricted by societal norms, asks 'Sophie' to be only his mistress and not wife. This breaks 'Sophie' emotionally as she is deeply hurt by the question. And she runs away without revealing her secret. Part 1 leaves the audience with multiple questions. It is worth mentioning that 'Benedict' does know that 'Sophie' was the woman at the ball.

As soon as the romantic show, starring Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha was released on Netflix, multiple users binged watched it and shared their thoughts on X (formerly Twitter).
