Bridgerton Season 4 will be out soon, and fans cannot wait to see who will be back in the upcoming season. The show will premiere on Netflix on January 29, 2026 (ET). However, there are some important changes to the cast in the upcoming season. So without any further ado, let's see who will be back and who will say goodbye to the show.
According to Netflix, Bridgerton Season 4 will introduce brand-new leads to the show. Luke Thompson will be taking the lead as 'Benedict Bridgerton', the second child of 'Viscount Edmund' and 'Viscountess Violet Bridgerton'. He is a soulful artist with an appetite for merrymaking. The show will follow 'Benedict' as he steps into the marriage mart during the upcoming social season. And to woo our beloved 'Benedict', Yerin Ha will play 'Sophie'.

She is a victim of tragic events who has been forced to spend much of her life working for the most demanding employer in the town. However, the resourceful 'Sophie' will find a way to persevere through her circumstances, which will drastically change as she disguises herself to attend the 'Violet Bridgerton's' masquerade ball, where she meets 'Benedict'.

A series of characters will be marking their return in Bridgerton Season 4. Our 'Queen Charlotte' (Golda Rosheuvel) will be back as England's ultimate discerning matriarch. While she reigns over the United Kingdom, she hails from the territory of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. According to Netflix, 'Queen Charlotte' would have 15 children in her lifetime. Additionally, her right hand, aka 'Lady Danbury' (Adjoa Andoh), will also return to the show. She is the one who was given her title when the queen married into the British royal family. She's wielded her influence over the ton ever since.

'Lady Violet Bridgerton' (Ruth Gemmell) will also return as the matriarch of the family and one of the most caring mamas. 'Violet' was born a 'Ledger' and later married 'Viscount Edmund Bridgerton'. She is a doting mom of eight wildly distinct and charming children. 'Lady Portia Featherington' (Polly Walker) will mark her comeback as the matriarch of the 'Feathingtons' and mother to three opinionated daughters. While 'Lord Archibald's' death leaves her a widow in need of all her tricks to survive, she is also a new grandmother to three babies.

'Colin Bridgerton' (Luke Newton) has also been confirmed to return as the third child of 'Viscount Edmund' and 'Viscountess Violet Bridgerton'. He has a traveller's heart but put his roots down in Mayfair at last, alongside his wife, fellow writer, 'Penelope Bridgerton'. And since 'Colin' is set to return, he will be accompanied by his beloved, 'Penelope' essayed by Nicola Coughlan, the youngest daughter of Lord and Lady 'Featherington'.

Bridgerton Season 4 will also mark the return of 'Eloise Bridgerton' (Claudia Jessie), the fifth 'Bridgerton' sibling. She is bookish, curious and heading towards a new adventure as she travels with newlywed 'Francesca' to Scotland. 'Hyacinth Bridgerton' (Florence Hunt) is the seventh child of 'Edmund' and 'Violet'; she was born after the sudden demise of her father. Along with them, Will Tilston and Hannah Dodd as 'Gregory Bridgerton' and 'Francesca Bridgerton' will also return as the youngest 'Bridgerton' siblings.
'John Stirling', Earl of Kilmartin (Victor Alli), will also be joining the cast of Bridgerton Season 4 as 'Francesca's' husband. 'Michaela Stirling' (Masali Baduza) will come back as 'John's' brother, adding a quick laugh to their travels. Daniel Francis, Hugh Sachs, Emma Naomi, Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley will also appear in Bridgerton Season 4 as 'Lord Marcus Anderson', 'Brimsley', 'Alice Mondrich', 'Anthony Bridgerton' and 'Kate Bridgerton' respectively.

While much of the Bridgerton cast will be back in Season 4, there are some members who will not be seen on the screen again. 'Daphne Bridgerton', essayed by Phoebe Dynevor, has not been asked to come back to the show. Jessica Madsen, Bessie Carter and James Phoon have been left out of the cast list of Bridgerton Season 4, which means that they might not get a comeback in Season 4. Lorn Macdonald and Harriet Cains have also been excluded from the show's cast list, leaving fans wondering whether they will return. Rege-Jean Page's 'Simon Basset' has also been written off after Season 1.

Bridgerton Season 4 will also introduce new characters. This will include Katie Leung's arrival as 'Lady Araminta Gun'. She is a twice-widowed social climber determined to marry off her daughters. Additionally, Bridgerton Season 4 will also bring Michelle Mao as 'Rosamund Li', 'Araminta Gun's' beautiful, vain and ambitious eldest daughter. She will have her eyes set on our beloved lead 'Benedict Bridgerton', adding some drama in his and 'Sophie's' love story.
The final character to join Bridgerton Season 4 is Isabella Wei, who will essay the role of 'Rosamund's' younger, kinder sister, 'Posy Li'. She will make her acting debut in Bridgerton. While she is also 'Araminta's' daughter, she rarely puts the spotlight on her second child. Her character is chatty and overly friendly, who often ends up with her foot in her mouth.
