Brandon Blackstock's Daughter, Savannah Announced Her Pregnancy Just A Month Before His Tragic Death

Singer and TV personality, Kelly Clarkson’s husband, Brandon Blackstock’s untimely death on August 7, 2025, came as a shock to their fans. The popular talent manager and TV producer had been battling cancer for the past three years. While people know about his much-publicised wedding and divorce from Kelly Clarkson, before that, he was married to Melissa Ashworth, with whom he shared two children, Savannah and Seth.

A month before Brandon’s demise, his oldest child, Savannah, revealed her second pregnancy in July 2025. Savannah had previously welcomed a son in January 2022. Taking to her IG handle, she announced the news and penned:

“We’ve been keeping a couple sweet surprises. One little girl will be making her arrival at the beginning of January and another beautiful girl named Julianna who has already been one of the greatest blessings to our family.”

Who is Savannah Blackstock?

Savannah Blackstock is the daughter of Brandon Blackstock and his first wife, Melissa Ashworth. The 23-year-old is a Florida-based realtor with significant experience in real estate. She reportedly married Quentin Lee in 2023 after dating him for a few years. Savannah shared a very warm bond with her father, Brandon and often expressed her love for him on social media.

Brandon Blackstock was married to Melissa Ashworth from 2001 to 2012, with whom he had two children. After his divorce from Melissa, Brandon went on to marry Kelly Clarkson in 2013. The couple welcomed two kids, a daughter, River, in 2014 and a son, Remington, in 2016. In 2020, Brandon and Kelly split, and their divorce was finalised in 2022.

Not many people know this, but Brandon’s wives, Melissa and Kelly, shared a cordial bond with one another. In a throwback interview, Melissa talked about her bond with Kelly and emphasised that they all shared a cordial relationship and even used to spend time together as a blended family. Not just this, Melissa's kids, Savannah and Seth, often appeared in public with Kelly and Brandon as a family.

Brandon Blackstock was born to music manager, Narvel Blackstock and Elisa Gayle Ritter. After his parents divorced, Narvel married the music star, Reba McEntire. Brandon stepped into the entertainment world and began managing artists like Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, and Carly Pearce. After his divorce from Kelly, Brandon stayed away from the limelight and was diagnosed with cancer, details of which are kept private.

A few days back, his ex-wife, Kelly, shared a statement in which she explained that she cancelled her upcoming shows to be with her ailing husband. However, on August 7, 2025, a rep from the family told People in a statement about Brandon’s death. The statement could be read as:

“It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away. Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time."
