Shravana, aka Sawan, is associated with the arrival of the southwest monsoons, which is why it is one of the most important months in the entire Indian subcontinent. Sawan is also considered the month of fasting. While Monday is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Tuesday is renowned for Goddess Parvati. Shravana is also the month of Kanwar Yatra, which is among the most famous annual pilgrimages in India. The holy month of Sawan holds a special place in the hearts of Lord Shiva's devotees.
As per multiple reports, Shravana month is the time when Lord Shiva accepted Goddess Parvati as his wife. Another story related to the auspicious month of Sawan is related to the story of Samudra Manthan when Lord Shiva drank the poison to save the entire universe. There are millions of stories related to Lod Shiva's sacrifices and heroics, which he did in order to save humanity time and again. Apart from having a tattoo of Lord Shiva, Sanjay Dutt has been spotted at multiple temples of Mahadev across the nation. Once, in an old interview with a YouTube channel, he also admitted that he is a great devotee of Lord Shiva.

Bollywood's Greek God, Hrithik Roshan is also a faithful devotee of the destroyer. Every year on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, he visits Lord Shiva's temple in order to seek his blessings. The actor has been papped along with his father, Rakesh Roshan most of the time during Maha Shivratri for some years now.
