Bobby Deol Opens Up On The Hardships Faced By Aryan Khan, 'No Child Should Ever Go Through..'

Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan has always made headlines, for both good and bad reasons. Lately, he has been grabbing attention because of his directorial debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, which was released on September 18, 2025. Apart from all the praises, Aryan Khan found himself in the middle of a legal issue when NCB officer, Sameer Wankhede filed a defamation suit against him. Amid those claims, The Ba***ds of Bollywood actor, Bobby Deol opened up about the hardships Aryan has faced. 

Bobby Deol believes Aryan Khan is more talented than him

Recently, the Gupt actor, Bobby Deol sat down for a candid conversation with Raj Shamani on his podcast. During the conversation, he was asked if he shares any traits with Aryan Khan, to which Bobby very fondly spoke about him and mentioned that he wished he had the same fire as Aryan. Bobby Deol also revealed that Aryan has a persona that attracts people. In his words:

"I guess, I wish I had the same fire like he has now. I mean, I started off with a lot of fire... but things got delayed for me a lot... Other than that, no, I think he's very talented. I don't know if I am that talented. His persona, he attracts you."

Later, in the same podcast, Bobby Deol was asked if Aryan Khan is facing the same pressure, to which the Housefull 5 actor replied that he is sure Aryan is going through a lot in several ways. He also mentioned that things Aryan is going through, no child should face that. He was quoted as saying:

"Definitely. I'm sure he is. I mean, he has been through a lot more than I have, in many other ways, which no child should ever go through. But that's the way the world is becoming right now."

Hardships faced by Aryan Khan

Aryan Khan made headlines in October 2021, when NCB carried out a raid on the cruise ship after receiving tip-offs about an alleged rave party. During the raid, NCB arrested several people including Aryan Khan. He was initially held in NCB custody, later remanded to judicial custody, and spent roughly a month behind bars before the Bombay High Court granted him bail. In 2022, all charges against him were cleared up. 

Apart from this, recently, Aryan Khan made headlines when NCB officer, Sameer Wankhede filed a defamation case against his directorial debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Sameer claimed that the series contains a portrayal that is false and is damaging his reputation. In his legal notice he demanded Rs. 2 crores, which would be donated to Tata Memorial Hospital.
