'Bigg Boss 19' Contestant List: Dhanashree Verma, Apoorva Mukhija, Gaurav Khanna, More Likely To Be

Salman Khan will be back with his hosting duties on the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 19, which is all set to premiere on August 24, 2025. The excitement related to the line of contestants is very high, as reportedly the makers have approached more than 45 stars during the process of casting. However, as of now, the casting for Bigg Boss 19 has not yet been confirmed, as many of the stars have not yet given their commitment to the show, knowing that it will run for like five months.

Bigg Boss 19 to have social media influencers Apoorva Mukhija, Payal Dhare, along with TMKOC's Shailesh Lodha?

There were reports doing the rounds earlier that Bigg Boss 19 season will not have social media influencers. However, since many stars were resistant to the idea that the show would last for a long time, the makers had approached social media influencers. A report by the Screen mentioned that social media influencer Payal Dhare, aka Payal Gaming, who has 4 million followers on Instagram, is one of the latest stars to be approached on the show. She has collaborated with notable figures in the past, including Rohit Sharma, Chaitanya Akkineni, and Sonakshi Sinha.

On the other hand, Shailesh has yet to confirm whether he will be part of Bigg Boss 19. After he quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah back in 2022, the actor received numerous offers to join Bigg Boss. Earlier, he had revealed that he had no interest in doing the show. Apoorva Mukhija, on the other hand, a social media influencer, had become a part of India’s Got Latent episode and touted controversy. When she was asked about being a part of Bigg Boss 19 by the publication, she said, "Never say never".

Gurucharan Singh, Mr Faisu and Dhanashree Verma to be a part of Bigg Boss 19?

Many former stars from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have been approached for Bigg Boss 19. Reportedly, Gurucharan a.k.a Sodhi of TMKOC fame has also been approached. He hogged the limelight in 2024, when he disappeared from his house in Delhi for like a month. Celebrity influencer Mr. Faisu, who was a finalist in Celebrity MasterChef Season 1, is reportedly close to being confirmed for the show. Faisu was also in the news for his breakup with Jannat Zubair. Even Dhanashree Verma, the ex-wife of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, may reportedly be seen on the show. She had done an item song in Bhool Chuk Maaf starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi.

Sreerama Chandra, Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Mallik and Hunar Gandhi to be in Bigg Boss 19?

Sreerama won the singing reality show, Indian Idol, back in 2010 and was also seen in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5. He was last seen in the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa 11 and reportedly is one of the confirmed contestants in Bigg Boss 19. Anupamaa fame, Gaurav, who won Celebrity MasterChef, may also participate in Bigg Boss 19. Hunar Gandhi, who had made her TV debut with Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii back in 2007, did great work on TV. She was also seen in Veer Hanuman back in 2024 and reportedly is confirmed for Bigg Boss 19. It is also being reported that singer Amaal Mallik has been approached for the Bigg Boss 19 post, following the controversies that happened in his life. He had revealed of separation from his family and made claims on a podcast.
