Salman Khan Hosted 'Bigg Boss 19' To Not Feature Influencers But Focus On Bollywood, TV Celebs?

Fans of Bigg Boss cannot keep calm as they are waiting for the controversial show to come up with season 19. However, a lot of buzz is going around that there would be a lot of change in the new season. It would reportedly feature Bollywood, TV stars and would have zero participation of YouTubers or social media influencers. The makers of the show would be making a notable change in the formatting of Bigg Boss 19.

Bigg Boss 19 fans are already excited, and the new season, as per a Telly Reporter report, will have exclusive Bollywood and TV personalities. It would not feature YouTubers or social media stars as the show wants to go back to its roots, where the focus would be on top names from the entertainment domain. The change came as the earlier seasons saw many digital content creators rising. Stars like Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan (Fukra Insaan), Manisha Rani, and Rajat Dalal created a mark on the minds of audiences with their game plan. It also attracted the younger audience.

Who are the contestants of Bigg Boss 19?

Well, the makers of Bigg Boss 19 have not yet come out with the official list of contestants, however, sources close to Telly Reporter have revealed that the casting is going on. The production team will focus on getting known faces from the TV and movie industry, and when everything falls in place, Bigg Boss 19 will go on air on July 19, 2025. Bigg Boss 19 is expected to extend for six months. Reportedly, the show is set to start in July 2025 and will go on till January 2026.

It is also being reported that Bigg Boss OTT would not return in 2025 to avoid viewers being fatigued and would concentrate on the TV edition. Salman Khan, who has been hosting the show for many years, reportedly hosts the show as he has a long-term association with the franchise. However, neither the channel nor the production company has revealed details related to the premiere date or how the format of the show will flow.

Bigg Boss 19 is expected to bring in a lot of twists, and fans are hopeful that the upcoming season will deliver the dose of drama, excitement and entertainment that is needed for the show. As Bigg Boss OTT has been cancelled, TV audiences would be excited to see what is in store Bigg Boss 19. Usually, the controversial reality show premieres in the month of September or October. However, this time the show will start early so that a long run is allowed.

Earlier, when Bigg Boss used to run on the TV screens, a digital version of the same also used to air on JioCinema for about 1.5 months. For the unversed, it was Karan Johar who had hosted season one of Bigg Boss OTT, where Divya Agarwal was the winner. Talking about Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner and the show was hosted by Salman Khan. Anil Kapoor had hosted the third season, and Sana Makbul was the winner. However, when Salman Khan hosts the controversial reality show, the audiences go all crazy.
